Well, this is my last week of my break, although I am tempted to take another. It is probably not a good idea, as more stories are popping up in my mind and that can be dangerous. I already have more stories in the works than I have spaces available for releases in the next two years. (What can I say?) When I have finished writing ‘The Tratchar’ and ‘The General’, which I figure should happen sometime around the end of July, I will begin to work on the releases for 2022. So, you know why I am tempted to take an extra week off.

So everyone knows, I will be at RTF19 in Niagara Falls on May 18 this year. This was not planned for me, but something I have wanted to do since the beginning. It was a little last minute, but I will make it work. With this signing in mind, there will be a few changes made to the website. As this hasn’t been done since fall of last year, you know it is overdue.

I am contributing a very short story for Kalicon. This will be another signing I will be attending on the last weekend of October. I am hoping to have copies of ‘Equals’ there. There will be only copies of ‘The Princess’ as the newest release for RTF19. I won’t have time to put together the short stories from the One Empire Series. I do plan on writing a novel on that series over the summer and being finished it before I go to Kalicon in October. I don’t know when the release date will be for that one, but I am seriously considering 2020, which means I would attach ‘An Elven Love Song’ to the back of the paperback copy of ‘The Priestess’ and release it separately by ebook. Decisions. Decisions.

What have the bratz been up to? It seems like the older they get, the less they get into, although I am still their trampoline when they do get into things. This, is usually in the middle of the night. Also, and get this, I actually managed to clip 4 of Thena’s nails without her throwing an out and out temper tantrum that lasted for days. (I have never before heard a cat that can go from purring to growling and back again while resting in a person’s arms) Of course you realize this is done within moments of each other.

Well, there hasn’t much else happening. I am about to enter my busy season at work, which means I will be swamped through April and May. Nevertheless, be assured I will continue to chug along with the stories. I am also planning to begin to write on the ‘Tantalus United’ Series this year to. It is time to start that one. If I can get a few things settled ahead of time, maybe I can get a few more stand alones done next year. I also need to begin to work on my new series. So many plans, so little time.
