It seems like this year has flown by, summer lasted two blinks of an eye, one for each month and now we are headed for fall. They are telling us it is going to be a brutal winter, but I would rather not believe them.
What do they know anyway, right?
Tath is in the hospital and today he gets to come home. It hasn’t been a good week for any of us here, although I get the impression Thena doesn’t feel the same way.
She has spent the better part of the week purring or, when Tath came home from surgery the once, hissing, growling, snarling and being a genuine streak of misery.
She was been nicknamed the tiny terror for a reason.
To be on the fair side, she has managed to gain a little weight and now weighs a while 7 pounds. Tath will fix the nasty disposition when he gets here, if he is feeling good enough.
He will only take so much guff from her before he tunes her up.
Then the place is safe to live in again.
Well, how are to stories going, you are wondering… ‘Standing in the Light’ goes into the editing pile today. It has been written and reworked, all I have to do is the changes to the typed file now and we are done the manuscripts for next year. ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ should be done by the end of the weekend.
‘Dream Warriors’ is getting a makeover and should be ready for the editing pile by the end of the week, tops. That gives me the rest of this month to get ready for Igniting the Soul, which is coming up fast.
I am not sure, but I believe this is the last day for tickets, so for those that are wanting to go to the London event, move quickly.
Kalicon will be happening at the end of October and it is going to seem that when one is over, the other will begin, at least for me.
I am basically ready, or so I think. Just the final touches now.
Well, as this is the long weekend, I am going to leave you all go. I have a house to shake down, and 2 books to polish so they can go into the editing pile. I am also need to give a new idea for a series some attention and check on release dates, because some things need a little shake up there.
So, with this in mind, have a great weekend and I will see you next Saturday.
Busy lady as usual and happy Tath will be coming home. Hope all is well with him and he recovers fast. Thena – watch out!! Enjoy the weekend Mary Ann – I hope. 🙂
