There is so much smoke in the air we have to use the lights throughout the entire day. Luckily, it isn’t from anything anywhere close, but you really have to feel for those that are watching the landscape around them go up in flames.
People are losing their lives, livings and homes in these infernos.
The entire West coast of the continent is having problems and people are quaking in the aftermath of what has to be one of the worst fire seasons on record.
Just East of us, it isn’t much better. It is a world gone crazy.
Even the two bratz here are not getting off without their problems lately. Thena is fine, as long as everyone leaves her do whatever she want, otherwise, as the vet can tell you, she is a tiny terror… good news on that front, she gained enough weight to hit the 7 pound mark.
Tath, well he isn’t such a happy camper at the moment.
He is on antibiotics because of teeth problems. On Tuesday they are going to take care of that and he will be sore for a while.
He was such a good kitty for them yesterday, after I got him out of the cage. He let them weigh him, clip his nails (which he won’t let me touch) and then examine his teeth.
They got me to weigh Thena, and then show them her teeth, while she snarled and growled and hissed and, and, and. The vet keeps a healthy distance if she knows what is good for her.
Out of reach is out of harm. 😉 Of course, you know the bratz made me pay for the indignity of going to the vet, I didn’t get much sleep last night.
How have the books been coming lately you wonder? Well, ‘Angelika Leanne’ just came back from initial proof reading, which means I will be spending an hour or two emerged in that.
I reworked a chapter of ‘Dream Warriors’, so I will spend a half an hour making changes there.
Eniko has nothing to report at this time, she is working on ‘The Princess’ and has ‘Equals’ in the waiting list.
Candy says she will have ‘People of the Phoenix’ back to me in the next couple of days.
Sarah says the same thing for ‘Hidden Kingdoms’.
I am going to settle down to do some typing on ‘Standing in the Light’, as well as more writing, because I only have a half a dozen more chapters to write to finish.
I am not sure if Sarah has begun ‘Final Contact’ yet, but it is possible.
Anyway, you get the idea, and if all goes well, after Tath’s surgery on his teeth, I will go to town and get some veggies to make my yearly soups. With this in mind, I think I have my week cut out for me.
Hope yours is going as well. Until next weekend… have a good one.
I feel so bad for you Canadians with the fires you are having too. What is happening to this world?? We haven’t taken care of Mother Earth and we are paying for it now. 😦 I hope you have a good weekend and have recovered from the Dynamic Duo giving you a hard time during the night.
