The mischievous part of me wants to know whether it is a good idea to celebrate April Fools day or not this year.  I admit, it is tempting.  Could there be a better opportunity for some of the tricks I used to play?  (I won’t bore you with the details.)  The sad part about this is that there is no one around to pick on, except the bratz… well, they are family, right?  

Tath is giving Thena the stink eye this morning.  He thought he had it all figured out.  It is blasted cold outside, which means it is really chilly inside.  He would wait for her to get out of bed when I do.  She always heads for the hot air register to catch all the warmth from there first thing in the morning.  He steals her place in bed when I return to catch an extra half an hour of sleep, so he can cuddle close.  (Yes, he is getting to be a suck as he ages.)  Problem with his plan, you wonder?  Thena returned before I got settled and snuggled in the spot he wanted.  Sometimes this can cause a problem, most of the time he just burrows into the blanket deeper and goes back to sleep.  He was in a mellow mood this morning because of his romp in the middle of the night,  No, I didn’t thank him for that, I am still trying to wake up. 

Well, here it is, Easter weekend, and I would like to wish everyone a great one.  I think I saw one of them in the back of the yard.  It was white, and beginning to change colour.  I am betting it was leaving little eggs behind it too, not that I am interested in checking.  I am going to pull a turkey later to thaw it out for tomorrow, brother is wanting a proper meal that doesn’t come from a can, so he is coming to dinner tomorrow.  While the turkey does its thing, I am going to sit down and fill in my income tax form, I am glad this only happens once a year.  But, a girl has to do what a girl has to do.  

I finished typing what I have written on ‘The Princess’, which means I will concentrate on what I reworked on ‘Equals’ as I write some more on ‘The Princess’.  I am hoping to have them both finished by the end of April, no promises.  The one think I am sure of is that it won’t be as long as ‘The Goddess’ was, but I guess that is to be expected.  I have to admit, I am rather looking forward to writing ‘Angelika Leanne’.  None of these books are as clear to me as ‘The General’, which I have put aside.  I am as far into that story as I am into ‘The Princess’.  There are a couple more that I have in the back of my mind that are coming in clear, but I am trying to hold them back.  I get into trouble when I have too much going on in my head and there is enough going on in my life right now without the added adventures. 

At any rate, I am running off at the fingers here, which was not my intention.  I came on to wish everyone a Happy Easter, before I toddle off to do my income taxes, dishes, etc (You know, the exciting stuff… not)  So, without further adu, From the Bratz and I, we wish you all a Happy weekend, hope you are enjoying it.  Until next week, have a good one.
