I got frustrated with one of the chapters I was writing and tossed it earlier this week. End result? I had a new chapter written and was going into the next within a few hours. Sometimes, things work out like that. Everything seems to be progressing pretty well at the moment. ‘Teryka Rose’ is in Sarah’s hands, ‘Final Contact’ is being worked on by Candy and ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ is being edited by Eniko. That will leave ‘Spirit of the Light’ and ‘People of the Phoenix’ in Eniko’s pile after this. I am getting behind. I check my upcoming release list and ‘The Princess’, ‘Equals’, ‘Angelika Leanne’, ‘Standing in the Light’, ‘The Priestess’, ‘Dream Warriors’, ‘The Warrior’ and ‘Living the Dream’ glare at me, as if to say… well? Not to mention I need to write ‘The Tratchar’ before the one I have written a good portion of already can be added (‘The General’) (You are so going to love T’Harris and Gabriella.
How is Tath and Thena, you ask? Like ticks on a hound. The sun is rising earlier every morning, and so are they. If this were Snoop we would be talking about, I would know he wanted to go hunting outside, but not these two. Thena likes the idea of going out, but all she does is scream when she gets there. Tath finds something to hide behind and shivers. Go figure. In the meantime, they chase each other from one end of the house to the other, and use me as a spring board when they feel they can get away with it.
Thena went to the vet, to get her annual nail clipping and teeth cleaning done, and she came back less 7 teeth. I was shocked. She is not even 4 yet and she is losing teeth! I took Tath to be weighed when I went to pick her up. They told me that Thena was feeling really good, quite drugged up by the pain killers and that she would be sleepy for the rest of the day and night. What happens when I get home with them and open the carrier? Jet propelled pussycats. Neither stopped running for at least half an hour. She refused to sleep in the bed through the night though, so I knew she was in pain. She also wanted to cuddle, as long as I didn’t touch her head. By morning she was less sensitive. Now, she is back to normal.
So, it is a week until Easter. Is everyone ready for the next holiday on their list? Note, it is on April fools day? How weird is that? I thought someone was playing tricks on me when I saw that on the calendar. I am going to be busy this week too, I have to play catch up from the storm that made me cancel my Dr. appointments as well as prepare to go forward towards the long weekend. This means, shake up the house and get my general shopping list in order. Friday my sister will make Easter bread, something I have never done, and my niece is going to go for lessons.
Well, this is lengthy, and I need to get back to writing, as well as preparing for the next phase of productions. Brian Callanan will begin narrating on ‘Integration’ in April. By the end of April, I want to be finished with ‘The Princess’ and I have a long way to go. I will start ‘Angelika Leanne’ as soon as ‘The Princess’ has been reworked. (Something tells me that Eniko will be looking for a new project by then.) Well, with all this in mind, I will wish everyone a wonderful Easter week, and get mobile here. See you next weekend with another update.
