It has been very cold here this winter, but they say we are about to get a break. Well, I have heard this before. They are telling us sometime about the middle of the week we should see some -single digit weather and, perhaps, even some melting weather by the end of the month… I could live with that. It might have been different if we would have gotten enough snow to prevent the frost from going so deeply into the ground, but we didn’t. To say that this has caused a few problems would be putting it lightly. Oh well, this too will come to an end.
Actually, I was surprised to find that Easter is coming really early this year. In the back of my mind, I associate that with a early spring… anyone else looking forward to a little heat? Notice, I mention a little heat, I am not talking about the type that you can fry an egg of pavement type of discomfort. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to find that we are going to have a hellacious summer, it is the type of thing we should expect after freezing out begeebies off all winter.
I have spent most of this reading instead of working. I have gotten some things done, but not really that much. I haven’t typed anything, beyond the company ledgers, and I know I need to get serious here. (Maybe after this week). Meanwhile, I have at least a few chapters to add to my typing pile, which I might add is growing. Oh well.
The bratz have been waking up earlier, as the sun rises to give them light to get into things with. Tath lets me know my services are needed by tossing a straw into my face each morning. That is his toy of choice and he likes me to throw it so he can chase it. I think he has it figured that straws don’t travel far. Thena is more action motivated, but her toys are a little more used, the pompoms also hold moisture, so you know that when something wet and icky hits your face, it is her. If there is a squeaky puppy in the bed, it can be either of them, Thena will chase the little stuffy, Tath will expect you to get up and retrieve it for him… dream on cat.
I am expecting edits to come my way before too much longer, and if anyone notices, I have been tweaking the release dates for this year and next, any of the ones after this year are subject to change.
How are the audiobooks coming along, you ask? I am expecting to be busy with edits on that front soon too. So you know, this week should be a busy one. Well, with this in mind, I am off. Until next week, have a good one.

I hope you warm up soon too – wish I could send some of our warmth to you. We really haven’t had a winter this year. Thank God we just had two days of rain since we were in a severe drought again. I wouldn’t worry so much about writing and just do catch up with typing. You’re still ahead of the game. Try to enjoy your weekend.
