I never seem to know what to expect whenever I turn my computer on. Today there was a window to who knows what open on the screen. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say that, I think either Thena or Tath had an idea. They tend to like to play in the computer room. They won’t admit to it, but they do. It seems like every time I sit at this contraction to type something out, they have to add to it… I admit, sometimes I swear it makes more sense than what I am doing.

What have I been doing this week, you ask? Not much. I have been avoiding the great outdoors. Blasted cold outside. They are pretending that there is going to be a slight warming trend, but I don’t believe them. Then again -12C is much warmer than -37C. I look out the window and can’t wait for some colour to leech into the landscape. All this white gets to be gloomy, especially when the sky is the same hue as the snow.

You might have noticed that the review for ‘The Goddess’ on The Reading Cafe did not go up last weekend when that book released. It is coming, next weekend. To be fair, I didn’t follow up on a manuscript that was sent out last July, which is a long time ago. I allowed myself to get overwhelmed by what I was doing otherwise, which was to make more work for myself. How could I help it, we all know I am somewhat of a workaholic. I have the editors swamped with upcoming releases. Poor Eniko has ‘Teryka Rose’, ‘Final Contact’, ‘People of the Phoenix’, ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ and ‘Spirit of the Light’ in her file. She is currently working on ‘Teryka Rose’. I am beginning to dabble at ‘The Princess’, which means poor Thieron. I don’t think he knows what he has gotten himself into. I am sure it will turn out for the best yet though.

I have been reading lately, a lot of books. I figure that this upcoming week I will go through 4 on my Kindle app, and see about 3 of my hardcover books. I am also going to finish off the one ledger today and begin to work on the main ledger. Luckily I am not in a hurry. I am also working on reworking ‘Equals’, it will not read the same at all after I am through with it. So far, I have 9 chapters to type out, and I so do not feel like typing. Sucks to be me.

How have Tath and Thena been lately? They are looking for a permanent bed partner, so you know they are nagging me to no end. I won’t say Snoop wasn’t like that, because we all know better. (Wow, did that cat have a set of lungs on him.) No matter, all is well in the end, as after I stuff socks in their yaps they are quiet for a while. You guessed it, with no thumbs, it is difficult to remove things from your mouth.

Well, on that note, I am going to go somewhere warm in the house, with pen and notepad in hand, as well as my ipad so I can listen to the first few chapters of Aura. It is time I got down to work. Until next week, take care, stay warm and we will see you next week at the same time, same station.
