First to wish our Southern neighbours a Happy long weekend.  It is their Memorial Day holiday.  Hope everyone is enjoying themselves.  

Well, you can sure tell that it is that time of the year again, not only spring, grass growing season, but wood tick season... I have had 2 so far, not by choice.  I am keeping Thena and Tath in, which makes for a very dissatisfied Thena kitty.  She has this whinny little meow to her that is going to drive me to drink.  Tath has been good about my rule, he can see those eagles floating high overhead just as well as I can.  She might be willing to take them on, but he isn’t.  He likes his 4 feet on the ground, or against soft surfaces.  Although, when you think about it, I guess their feathers are soft, even if their claws aren’t.  Either way, I believes he intends to leave the flying to the birds.  (discretion being the better part of valour and all that.)

I have been a good girl (mostly).  I haven’t been writing, and no, I am not counting reworking a chapter as writing.  In my mind I am ready to start soon, but I still have 2 books to finish and at least 1 more to read besides that, before I begin… and I will continue for a while after, because ...  well, because I set out more books to read than I could and I want to clear that dresser top.  That is why.  Tath would help, but only if I put tassels in everyone of them, then I would have a pile on the floor that needs picking up.  He has his limits.

It is cool and wet again this morning and the bratz are in bed, where it is warm.  I think they believe I will be coming back.  I don’t think I can get away with that… although, I may try.  It is really chilly up this morning.  And this is the end of May?  I might have to put the heat on in the house.  Crazy weather.

Sarah might be finished Beyond the Myth, this weekend, which will put it in a final proofread mode, after I have gone through it again.  She will then tackle Kings of the Empire, as Morganna has not finished with Hunter’s Challenge, or Forbidden Contact.  If everything goes well, we could be finished edits on all of those by August.  Hunter’s Challenge will go up for pre-order immediately at that point, and the others will have to wait (at least on Amazon, because they don’t accept pre-order books going up until 90 days ahead of release.    We can put them up everywhere else though.  

Ah, and the Bratz are up, and you can tell they are feeling the chill in the air, they are running, tripping over each other and screaming mama.  The last means they either need food in their dish, or they want me to go back to bed, to supply extra heat… gotta think of these things.  Well, why not, I have 20 minutes to spare for them.  I will sit up and read, and they will benefit by soaking up the extra body heat.  Works for everyone.  Hope you are having a warmer weekend.  Until next week, have a good one.  and from the Brtaz…  … stay dry.
