Thena is bringing me presents in the middle of the night, in for form of sparkling pompoms... throw it for me mama, I want to play fetch.
Alright, this can be done,
Snoop did much the same thing when he was a kitten,
young adult, and a bit later.
They grow out of it, or run out of pompoms.
She got a nylon tube to run through/play in or whatever, for Christmas.
She loves that thing…the tail with catnip, not so much.
For some reason catnip seems to be beneath the dignity of a Siamese cat, or so I was informed in the past with a disdainful sniff. (By you know who.)
Thena is only looking for 1 thing, another kitten to play with.
about 6 weeks from now Tath should show up.
How is Tath doing? Haven’t heard, though I assume he is growing like a weed, Thena is.
I am expecting to see that nylon tube going loop-d’loop when they are both playing with it.
The antibiotics Thena is on is doing her good, she is livelier than she was, as the upper shelf of my computer desk can attest. She has also found a new hobby, one that is going to be nipped in the bud. Jumping.
Wow, can that kitten jump.
I haven’t seen ground covered that far in one leap since Snoop.
(I won’t talk about what I was like when I was young.)
She is going to expect me to take her sparkling pompom hunting later.
(the ones from the US haven’t arrived here yet.
I keep telling her she has to take care of them because they are not readily available in Canada.
She isn’t listening… little turd.
I have been writing, not much, but every little bit counts. Now that I am getting back into it the storyline for Integration is coming together, although I have a long way to go.
Tratchars is forming fast, but Surrounded by the light should be written first.
That isn’t so important as it is a short and can be done in a couple weeks.
The problem with that is when they are all done, if they come together at the same time, edits can be painful for those helping because they hit… 1,2,3… if you know what I mean.
Earwen’s story is patiently waiting to be told, but the structure for it is together, I don’t think she will wait much longer after Tratchars.
That will leave Larien’s story, which may or may not be a short, and Loth’s story.
Well, it snowed last night, there isn’t a mark on the surface of the fluff anywhere in the yard, and it is cold…cold…cold. Time to curl up on a chair, pen in hand, and write… if it is allowed… I will face off with the lioness and see what comes of it.
Right now she is curled up in front of the hot air register.
Which could give me the green light to do whatever I want.
Until next week, this is Thena and I signing off.
She sure is quieter than Snoop was with her tiny little voice.
That has to be some small benefit a quieter voice. I am just thinking what are you going to do when Tathar gets there and they both want you to entertain them. LOL
They can battle it out. 😉
