Well, I got the back cover for ‘Angelika Leanne’. The pb will be beautiful and fit the trilogy so very well. Trouble is, I can’t get a proof to make sure everything is good at the moment because of the covid-19 problem.
The book would come from the US and I live in Canada. Short story, not so sweet, what can I say. Like everyone out we have to ride out the storm. Not much anyone can do about nature except wait it out.
I learned patience the hard way and it is coming in handy.
I am supposed to do a live this evening on my reading wall, along with Eniko. I also have a full schedule for this afternoon. Things are going to be crowded.
I had to laugh at the Tath cat yesterday. I had company for a part of the afternoon, all legal, They spent most of their time out in the yard, then spent the time after that pulling wood ticks off of their bodies.
Yes, it is that time of the year. Makes me shudder. I can deal with them, but it doesn’t mean I like them. It looks like there are going to be a lot of them around this year. It is a good thing my cats don’t go outdoors.
Well, Tath and Thena both scatter whenever children are around and somehow, he got locked in the basement.
He hates that place. To make a long story short, when they left, 5 hours later, Thena came out of hiding,
Tath started screaming.
Took a few minutes, but I found him. I must admit, he behaved last night and even cuddled extra close.
The countdown to release day for ‘Angelika Leanne’ has begun. I am getting very close to being able to finish off the short story I have been writing on, and I will get back to the one I interrupted.
I then plan on taking a trip to Tantalus for a couple of months to see what is going on there. Should be interesting, as they are building their learning centre. Oh right, you wouldn’t be interested in that because you won’t get to read it until either late next year or in 2022.
I have to remember not to crowd your reading time next year. What am I going to do with all of these manuscripts?
I am not sure what else I have to say, the trees are getting leaves, the lilacs are beginning to form flower bunches, and other flowering perennials are sprouting. The grass is growing like weeds and will soon need cutting. It all sounds like work to me and I need to shake down my house again because I have been lazy. So, with this in mind, I will take my to do list and get down to business.
Until next week, sending everyone wishes for a good health and a bit more patience. I would like to think everyone will weather the beating we have been taking and we can gain our freedom once more.
