I woke up this morning and the sun was shining brightly, but much too early to get up. I needed to anyway and, the moment I flipped the blanket off, I was attacked by a Thena cat. Ohmh… she landed hard as she jumped from the dresser onto me. (Who would have thought anything so small could feel so heavy. I made a sound and Tath was on top of it all, my fierce protector. Now, there were two fur bodies rolling around on the bed. To give them credit, they were having a grand old time, then again someone needed to be. I was getting trampled. I said one word and they scattered. CATS. They knew what they were doing and looked pretty smug about it too, as they sat looking at me and licked their paws. I should have known they were being too quiet during the night. They were undoubtedly busy planning this attack out.

Anyone ever seeing me with those cats would think I was talking to children. They sit in front of me as I read them the riot act and watch (probably as if amused by the picture this makes.)

Well, outside of a few pages, which I tossed, I haven’t got much done this week. I will be serious about moving forward with this project though, ‘The Tratchar’ must be written. To be fair to the characters, they have been quiet. They know I have half the book outlined already. They are interested in what is going to happen after and know Gabriella and T’Harris are impatiently waiting their time. There is going to be a lot going on.

What did I do during my time off? I listened to a pile of audiobooks, read a bunch of my older paperbacks (I am getting to the newer ones slowly.) I shook down the house a couple of times, but the cat hair continues to get away on me. Sigh.)

I am expecting the edits for ‘Final Contact’ to come soon from Sarah. When that happens, I will send her ‘Equals’. Got to keep that girl busy so she doesn’t get into trouble. Becca, as everyone can see has been busy putting the website back into order. I am getting ready to go to RTF19, which is going to be huge. I am also hoping to see people I know from there, as well as new ones.
