Well, they are telling us we are going to have a cold February where I live. Although this is not particularly news in this part of the world, the wind chills have been a little more than some of us are used to…
… never thought I would call myself a wuss because I was uneasy about going outside, especially at nights when some of them were as low as -53.
That is cold by anybody’s standards, even if you are Martian.
However, as we know winter is usually cold, we also know that spring will come, and along with it we are bound to see changes, just not in my books for this year, although some of the series are about to come to an end this year and next, like the Tantalus Series (which will be followed by the ‘Tantalus United’ series) and the trilogy of ‘Daughters of the Valley’ (which will be followed by the joiner ‘Tyndal” to the ‘Sons of the Valley’ trilogy.)
This is for a different year though and I am sure you don’t want to hear about it now.
The proof for ‘The Princess’ paperback has been ordered and will be here some time around the middle of the week for Becca to check out. If it looks good, and I am going to assume it will, we will be sending out the pre-orders to those that ordered them and releasing the paperback a week early.
The new system doesn’t allow me to send out copies a month in advance anymore.
How are the furballs doing during all this cold? They want me to stay in bed where it is warm and cuddle them, not happening. I have things to do, like writing ‘The Warrior’.
So they hug the hot air register and if I happen to go away from the computer, they are hot on my heels, in case I am heading to bed to warm up… hint, hint.
Not happening kitties.
During the night they take turns coming and going from under the cover, where I am going to assume it gets very warm for them.
How is everything else coming along? Marie is working on ‘The Priestess’, with ‘An Elven Love Song’ and ‘Hidden Treasures’ waiting for her in the wings.
Eniko is working on ‘Tyndal’ and ‘Angelika Leanne’, with ‘Dream Warriors’, and later ‘The Priestess’, ‘An Elven Love Song’ and ‘Hidden Treasures’ waiting in a file for her.
Candy is waiting for someone to pass something on to her.
Sarah is working on ‘Final Contact’ while ‘Equals’ sits in her file, with all the others to follow as they get to her position in the line up. Betty is waiting for all of them.
I am somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 way through ‘The Warrior’. I will know for sure when I get some of these words into the electronic file.
Well, that about cinches things. I am going to wrap this up and begin to type a couple more chapters into that file I was talking about earlier. Then, I will know where I am sitting, should take about a week and by then I will have more to type out. With this in mind, stay warm, curl up under a blanket or whatever with your furballs and try to stay warm. Until next week….
