There is the loud sound of demanding voices coming from the kitchen, one is human, a brother, the other is the Tath cat. One is emulating the other. I am not amused and am seriously considering stuffing a dirty sock in their mouths. One for each. Yea, I am in that type of mood, and this is the Christmas season? Shame on me. Oh well, this too will come to an end.

The writing is coming along. I figure I have approximately 5 chapters left to write, and there is a major twist in ‘The Priestess’ that I hadn’t seen coming when I began it. The storyline for ‘The Warrior’ is beginning to come in, or at least a part of it. Kestriel definitely needs a tune up and the Dark Elven Princess/who is also the head of her father’s Elite Guards, is just the Elven Female to give it to him. That is what happens when you pair up a High Elven Dragon shifter and a Dark Elf, much to his horror. The different Elves get along, but the do have a degree of prejudice in dealing with one another. High Elves tend to be snooty, Dark Elves tend to like to rub their noses in their attitude. And that sets the scene between the two lovebirds.

How is the edits coming? They seem to have stalled, which is bad. Everyone is busy, time is moving on and nothing is getting accomplished in time. It makes life tense at times, but I assume it will work out in the end, it usually does. I just need to trust my editing team.

As I come to the end of the book I am writing, as well as the end of the year, I feel I need to thank everyone for all the support they have given me this year, and in the past. I appreciate each and every one that comes to read the blog, as well as my books. I also realize I only have 2 more to weeks before the year is over and we are into the last year or another decade, can you believe that? Time sure does fly. With this in mind, we should treat our fellow man with more kindness and in some cases, quit being so judgmental. I cannot believe how many people seem to have nothing better to do with their lives than think of ways to make life miserable.
