Only in certain parts of Canada do you find people turning on their air conditioners as soon as the snow is gone, although it has been gone for several months here at this point.  There is something about humidex temperature levels that kill some of us, figurative speaking. It has been hitting close to 40C this year at times, and that is too warm by most peoples standards.  (for my American friends, around the 100F mark). Yes, we do get it up here.  I remember getting close to arguing with a gentleman in West Virginia about our weather when he didn’t believe it got that hot in Canada. Then I remembered how my friend at border patrol told me about people coming up from some of the states in August with skis … right… 2000 miles due North to the first signs of snow.  I know… bad. 

Well, beyond learning patience the hard way, the kitties are behaving themselves.  You are asking me how I am accomplishing this?  That space gun accomplishes miracles.  All I have to do is turn the motor on and they toe the mark… no one has to tell them what to do, they know. Siamese kitties are not as stupid as they would like you to believe.  Right now they are sunning themselves and leaving me type.  Which I am doing frantically before they begin to change their minds.

How are to manuscripts coming? I will be finished the reworking of ‘Angelika Leanne’ tomorrow and the changes in the electronic file will be done as well.  I will probably do the reworking of the first 5 chapters of ‘Tyndal’ as well, so it meshes when the time comes.  I will start writing on it again on Monday.  I should be finished by the end of the month and begin on ‘Standing in the Light’ in August.  I am seriously thinking of taking a break after that, mainly because I need to prepare for Igniting the Soul and Kalicon, which are at the end of September and October, respectively. 

I am going to make this short, people have things to do while the sun is shining hot, and their kitties are on the kitchen cupboard.  I also have to take a run to the city because they changed my meds… no influence on Mother Nature here so you are not to worry… We will talk to you next weekend, with more news, because it is nearly release time for ‘Teryka Rose’ and the audiobook of ‘Hunter’s Challenge’.
