The bratz have decided I need a living fur blanket, because I have put the a/c on. Yes, it was a tad warm.
They weren’t impressed that their efforts weren’t appreciated in the way they thought they should and kept insisting I give them more respect.
End result, a living, breathing blanket whenever I sit in my favourite chair.
When they get tired of that, they take a chase break, or Tath gets his nose out of joint and tries to tune in Thena.
Not to worry though, she is a mighty might and can trim his hide.
To be fair, she takes all the prime spots and isn’t shy about it.
I keep telling him, you snooze, you lose.
He usually spreads his ears and gives me narrow eyed looks. (Snort… as if that will bother me). It is when he decides that I need a tune up that causes me issues.
He will bite and is known to claw, the brute.
I have begun to write again. I took a reading break and went through a lot of my paperbacks, and then bought a lot more to fill in the spots. What can I say, I am a reader.
I already have six chapters of ‘Angelika Rose’ in script form down onto paper and will probably write at least another today.
I need to start typing though, as this can get away.
At the rate the story is unraveling, I should have it finished by the end of this month and begin to work on ‘Standing in the Light’ (which will be a novella).
I should be finished that one by the end of July, barring life throwing a monkey wrench into the works.
It is a little faster than I thought it would be, but it is what it is. IF this happens, I will probably take another reading break, before getting into ‘The Priestess’.
Just think, I could have ‘The General’ finished before the end of this year if everything went well.
This would leave me with only 3 books to write for 2020 after, before getting into 2021.
(The 2020 books to do, according to the list, are ‘The Warrior’, ‘Dream Warriors’, and ‘Living the Dream’.) Yes, I could see doing that as well as ‘The Tratchar’.
There isn’t much else going on in my life, beyond getting things ready for the book signings I will be going to later this year, Ignite your soul in London, Ontario and Kalicon in Belleville Ontario at the end of September and October respectively. I have 90% of this already in place, so all I will need to do in the end is get on the plane, meet with Eniko and go. Should be fun. Don’t you love it when things come together?
Well, with all this, I am going to head off. It is time to grab a sandwich, or at least a piece of toast to eat. Until next week, be good and enjoy the summer.
Really getting ahead with your writing. Glad you can take some time for just reading for yourself, The Dynamic Duo are just too much and Tath with his biting-not nice!!
