I am thinking of doing more than writing on this site for the next while, and no, I have no intention of letting anyone know what is going through my mind before I know it is possible. What I can tell you is that it should be very interesting for all concerned, as well as different from the norm.
I do so love to do things that are off the beaten path. If it happens, hold on to your socks because you will be in for a great ride.
I managed to write a couple of chapters this week, but to be honest, I seem to be in reading mode. I mean my TBR pile is dwindling, not by much because I buy more to top it up, but the archives are getting emptied.
That, however, is only on my Kindle app, not any of the others, or from the pbs on my shelves. Yes, I have more than one area to keep my physical books.
How are the kitties taking this? Actually, they seem to be loving it.
They lie on my legs and snooze, or vie for prime location on my chest, something they are sharing in a 50/50 capacity, sometimes even together.
Tath has also taken to following me every step, and got caught in the porch without my knowing it yesterday.
Yes, he was disgruntled when I found him 2 hours later and let him back into the house.
Surprisingly, he wasn’t cold… I thought he would have been freezing, but he must have found a sunbeam.
I realized Thena was trying to tell me something while he was in there, but I thought she was just looking for him, while he was curled up under a blanket somewhere, snoozing.
He does do that kind of thing. No matter, he has since forgiven me for leaving him in the room all by himself and is once again staking his claim on me, while giving Thena grief.
You can warn them that there will be payback on these things, but they never listen.
Thena will be going to the vet’s on Tuesday. Yes, it is time for her to get her nails clipped, and her teeth cleaned, which means they have to sedate her to do this.
She will leave no one touch her nails and teeth, and it is even worse at the vets, where she snarls, hisses, slashes out with her claws and yowls in warning at everyone. I have to hold her so they can put a stethoscope on her to do a small examination.
She is a tiny terror, and it is getting worse as she ages. Aren’t they supposed to mellow as they get older?
Anyway, with several manuscripts in different stages of edits, and me working on a few new ones, there isn’t much more to say. I have been gathering surprises to take with me when I go to signings, but I am sure you don’t want to hear about those.
With that in mind, I will leave you. I have one more item to post before I toddle off… so, until next week, have a good one.
Hmm, wonder what you have in mind now. 😉 Oh boy, vet visit-hope all goes well with that. I know how it goes with getting your TBR list down and keep adding and it’s really getting nowhere – I have the same problem 😦 Hope you have a good weekend.
