Once upon a time there was a pen that had a sparkling blue rose on the top of it. The person who had it tried her best to keep it way from one Tath cat that coveted it, but was unsuccessful.
She didn’t realize that he had help, a cat that went by the name of Thena.
In fact, she thought Thena didn’t care about it and that it was only the Tath cat that was interested.
Wrong. End result of lesson?
There is one pen that has a blue rose on the top of it, less sparkles. It also has more airmiles on it than Air Canada.
However, saying this, there are sparkles in the litter pan, spread across the floor and on a couple of kitty noses.
I decided it was time to start getting serious about writing ‘The Princess’, which means in this upcoming week, I expect to get several chapters written. I has been fun reading, and I have several books off of my TBR pile, some of which have been replaced by new ones in the list.
I have also done something about getting things together for my signings in fall.
Yes, I can be like that.
I need to feel as if I am somewhat in control and things are together.
While I have been lazy, Eniko got ‘Teryka Rose’ edited, and I sent it off to the next stage of edits. She is now working on ‘Final Contact’, while waiting for ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ to return.
‘Spirit of the Light’ is only a short story, 35000 words or thereabouts. The same can be said for ‘People of the Phoenix’.
Also, note this, the audiobook of ‘Aura’ has been finished and it is being proofed, as they prepare it for release.
In the meantime, ‘First Contact’ is doing well, as we prepare to begin ‘Integration’ in April. I need March to finish book working as well as writing on ‘Equals’ and ‘The Princess’.
(My thoughts on book working) I am hoping to be working on ‘Angelika Leanne’ by the end of April.
Well, with more edits coming my way this week from different sources, a Dr. appointment and a Colorado low that could hit us, I am not sure what I will get accomplished this week. I will let you in on that next week. Until then, have a good one.
A Colorado low, eh? Here the weatherman blames all our cold weather on Canadian lows and Alberta Clippers! Have fun with both of those glittery cat noses!
We are/were supposed to get one of those too. We also get Arctic highs, which are blasted cold, and keep the storms from happening unless they are really strong ones.
Cold weather again, hopefully it blows over quickly! We had a couple of days of cold, now it’s warm again-in the 70’s!! Wish I could send you some. Oh boy, all that glitter-bad kitties! Try to enjoy your weekend. Glad you did get some reading in though.
At this time of the year we don’t call this weather that cold, as it does get above melting, well, for a few hours anyway.
