It is the 22nd of July… I leave on the 1st of August for Eniko’s and RTC Ottawa. Someone shoot me now and put me out of my misery. Can we say insecurity? I don’t know if I should use the brown paper bag to hide in or for hyperventilating. Sigh. Eniko is going to want to kick my hinny. Tath and Thena are all for me staying home and hiding in the bed with them. Choices, at least I have choices. The first thing I am going to want to do is hit a couple of stores… one is Costco. I have specific plans for there. LOL.

I have been doing some writing on ‘Final Contact’ and figure I must be approximately at the half way mark. There is still a lot of storyline to write. It would go faster, but there have been so many interruptions. Looks like I will be finished this one sometime in August. I am seriously thinking of writing the followup story, which is the beginning of a new series, right after this one. Tantalus is about to take on a different look. The population is sure growing quickly, and not only with children. You will have to read that to find out more when the time comes… Yes, I know it is two years in the future, but hey, that is the way the cookie crumbles.

As soon as I am finished with this book(s), I will get into ‘Hidden Kingdoms’. It is in hiding, but will come out if I ask nicely. The Elves are being polite to the Tantalarians in this case. They know that if they wait their turn I am apt to write the followup short story that comes after ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ immediately after. I should take a break after that, but this will depend on what time of the year it will be. I will jump into ‘The Princess’ as soon as the new year begins, and follow it up with ‘The Priestess’. ‘The General’ is coming in very strong. I could write it today if I had to, but that is book 5. You are going to so love T’Harris. He is such a level headed Elven/Dragon. I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side though. working on it. 😉

Tath and Thena have been doing their usual, sleeping through most of the day and doing their bit at night. Sigh. To be fair, I have been so tired lately that they could bring the house down around my ears and I wouldn’t know it. I don’t think they suspect that there is a trip coming up, but they will figure it out quickly enough when Becca brings the tote bags and we immediately put them into a suitcase. They will be in there like a dirty shirt. Something new, for us momma? Why are you putting it in there? We will help you take them out. No? Are you taking us with you? This sounds like fun.

According to the itinerary that I have been sent, the last of the shipments, which includes the books for the signing, should arrive at Eniko’s on Wednesday. They will kick me off the plane as they fly over Hamilton the following Tuesday. They still are not telling me if they will provide a parachute or not. With that in mind, I guess I better get busy at this end and sort out anything that needs doing here. Until next week, which will be my last before RTC Ottawa, I hope you have a great summer.
