Not only is it Gabriel and Eden’s fifth anniversary, but, their book is in the top 30 in fantasy in Kindle.  Not sure where it is placing on the other venues, but know that as an anniversary gift, it is going out free to anyone who downloads it.  This is, of course, a time limited thing.

Well, this week I got quite a bit accomplished.  I finished all my major projects, and almost caught up on my typing.  I got very little written on ‘The Goddess’, but that is alright, because I would have had to change it anyway, as I threw a twist in the storyline… yes, I like to do that. I have to admit, Gabriella, Gabriel and Eden’s several times over great Granddaughter, is quite the character.  She also takes after him in many ways, with maybe just a touch more humour in her nature.  Like him, however, she is the General in charge of the armies of the Elven Empire, but she will feature in a later book in the Guardians of the Empire series ‘The General’.  You are going to so love her.

In my mind, I can see the end of ‘The Goddess’ looming, which means it is probably about 8-10 chapters away.  I could finish that in the upcoming week and do the reworking before the end of the month.  Yes, I know it is late, but there it is.  I will then start on ‘Teryka Rose’, and as I usually say, I know where I am going with that one, but sometimes putting it on paper is more difficult to do than to say.

I intend to do my income taxes in the next couple days, which will feel so good to get done.  I hate this time of the year because of all the paperwork that needs to be done.  I doubt if I am alone on that either.  It hasn’t helped that I thought I had caught a cold, but I think it was more a reaction to the nasty stuff I took care of in the basement.  I live in a very old house and the basement has always been ‘the scary place’ LOL. 

The bratz have been really lax this week, very little romping, but lots of hovering, waiting to see if I have extra time to spend with them.  You know what I mean, holding them, cutting up chicken bits for them, or turkey will do in a pinch.  None of this catfood garbage.  They have been totally out of luck, because I haven’t any leftovers at the moment.  Not only that, but the oven died in the last power outage, so I can’t make more for them.  I can’t say I am very happy about that and neither are they.  I have to admit, if I opened a can of salmon, they would accept that in a pinch.  Oh well, too bad, kitty-cats.

Well, there isn’t much to say, with the major jobs finished for now, and the end of the book coming up, it looks like I will be having a bit of a lull in my calendar.  I may be able to fit in a quick read, before I plunge into the next manuscript.  We will see what happens.  Also, I think I have most of the major items taken care of for my signing in RTC Ottawa in August.  So, with all this in mind, I will finish my typing, sit back with my feet up and begin to write the last few chapters of ‘The Goddess’, oh yes, and do my income taxes.  Until nest week at this time, have a good one.
