The house is like a race track right now, one that resembles upcoming trouble. Yes, the bratz are on the tear.
I don’t need to worry too much about this any more.
They broke the large fairy goddess, and the large cat, and the goddess of grapes. Actually, I have to admit that despite my frustration, I had to laugh at how funny they looked as they tried to stop, but couldn’t, because they were moving too fast.
First, they knocked over the fairy in my room. As that goddess crashed on the floor, the bratz came tumbling over each other, in their rush to escape the room, in case they would get the blame.
(Busted) They skidded across the living room, still tumbling, hardwood floors don’t give a cat a good surface to hang on to.
I had placed the antique cat and goddess of the harvest on the floor, so they wouldn’t get knocked off the furniture and break. Sighing here. Yes, they rammed into the goddess, which fell over the china cat and both shattered.
I yelled, “Cats.”
They slipped and slid across the floor in their rush to get out of the room.
They settled nicely for the rest of the day after, and even Tath, who never looks guilty, no matter how busted he is, looked sheepish.
That said, I should let you know how things are coming here, especially on the writing front. The sales that I held up to the release of ‘Kings of the Empire’ are over.
The event for the release on FB is over, and the prizes have all been awarded, and packed into envelopes.
They are now awaiting their ride South, hopefully soon.
I have been slowly writing on ‘The Goddess’, and am working on the last half of that book.
I will begin on ‘Teryka Rose’, as soon as I have finished reworking ‘The Goddess’.
I should be into that by the end of March, and I hoping to be into ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ by the end of May.
I have made all the arrangements I hope are needed to leave for RTC Ottawa at the beginning of August, and will order the books we will be taking with us to the show at the beginning of July.
That should give them lots of time to get to their destination.
When I return from RTC, I plan to start on ‘Final Contact’. I figure that I should be going at such a click at that time yet that I might as while take advantage of the momentum. I am debating whether or not to write ‘Reunion’, and have decided to see how I make out with ‘Final Contact’.
In the meantime, my mind continues to put it all together. The trouble with that, is that my brain works faster than my fingers.
What to do? Well, I guess I better get to work, or it won’t get done. If everything works well, maybe I will even be able to work some reading and reworking time in, to shorten my TBR pile (snort) as well as my backlog of stories.
I would especially like to get ‘By Love, Betrayed’ out. Well, ‘Equals’ and a few others too. LOL
Until next time, take care and watch the weather, wherever you are. Here, we are getting into what I call transition weather, and there is ice everywhere. See you next weekend.
I am getting so excited, the time for RTC is coming at us quick. ROAD TRIP!!!! YAY
The weather is so warm here, but I have a feeling Mother Nature is not done dumping nasty on us yet. Have a great weekend.
