Yes, things are ending. 2016 has less than a month to go.
‘Kings of the Empire’ is done, and on preorder everywhere.
‘Intercession’ is finished, and is waiting for the final piece to be put in with it, so the paperback can be formatted. (When that is done, all but Amazon will be up for formatted and up for preorder).
‘Merika’s Story’ is in the last stages of edits, which means Sara is going to be busy.
‘Forbidden Contact’ has been in the formatting file for a long time already, mainly because although it is done, it is too early to send it for preorders anywhere yet.
Last, but not least, ‘Lost Kingdoms of the Empire’ is about to be edited, Eniko will begin that soon.
It won’t take long, because it is such a short one.
That will take care of my release year for 2017. Am I ready or what!
I have a start on 2018 also, ‘The Phoenixes Choice’ has been written and the reworked manuscript is ready for the edits pile. I just finished writing ‘The Siren Connection’ last night, and what a finish!
I will be writing the first chapter of ‘Final Contact’ today sometime.
I will type out the last four chapters of ‘The Siren Connection’ later.
That means this upcoming week will be filled with reworking ‘The Siren Connection’, typing, doing the company year end papers (as much as possible), Christmas cleaning, checking the cover Cora is making for Merika’s Story, and the poster for Tantalus, Dr. appointment, a little Christmas shopping for little bro., a couple interviews and finally the reading begins.
Wondering if I shortlisted it all. No matter.
That being said, I woke up this morning at 5AM and rewrote notes on a couple of the scenes from ‘The Goddess’, which I will be writing beginning in January. You are going to really love that book.
Yes, I know, it is tacky to crow, but I can’t help it, not this time. Well, not with ‘Kings of the Empire’ either, but what can I say.
Why, do you wonder, did I get up at 5AM? Simple, the bratz were wide awake. Granted, part of it was my fault, because I needed to run down the hall for a second, but they could have gone back to sleep so my brain would have shut down again… no such luck.
They were romping when I got back… rolling all over the bed … the minute I showed up, it was mama and meow.
They wanted me to join in. and I told them, sheathe the claws.
You would think they would know by now.
For the hour, while I wrote, make that two, the sound of thundering pussycats rumbled through the house, as they chased each other and rolled around.
They are acting a little subdued now.
I am feeling washed out, so I can identify. I really have to find a way to change their routine.
I snowed/rained/snowed, which means my yard is an icy lake. Sigh. I am not happy about this.
It was bad enough that my bro #3 took my to the dentist appointment, which I am happy to report, went great.
He planted fears of a root canal in my mind, and it won’t be necessary.
Ready to party here.
Well, with my to do list in mind, I better get busy. Most of it won’t take long, but some of it will, like the typing… 2 interviews and 5 chapters.
I have to keep this in mind, because the sooner I get at it, the sooner I can settle down to some serious reading. Wish me luck.
Until next week, stay warm, and find a way to get acclimatized, because this is only going to bet colder as winter finishes settling in.
You make me tired just reading all of this. Shame on the Dynamic Duo keeping you up at 5am. You are so far ahead, there shouldn’t be any problem to getting to your TBR list. Have a good weekend and try to stay warm. 🙂
Yes it is going to get colder. It is hitting freezing at night here. You really need to take a break. You are way ahead of yourself in your release dates. The Bratz will settle as they get older. {hopefully} LOL Love the blog and happy your dentist appoinment went well.
