No, I am not talking about me.  I mean two cats that don’t know how to sleep at night.  I figure I might have had six hours sleep in the last three days.  So not fair. I let them sleep, every chance I get, so that I can either get something done, or, so I can get some sleep.  It doesn’t help much that the brain doesn’t stop either.  I am totally at a loss here.  To even the score, I got their claws clipped.  In retaliation, Tath ripped me to shreds… which isn’t like him.  Thena must be giving him lessons. Makes me kind of wonder, considering that she didn’t fight her clipping that much.  Usually she uses very unladylike language and shows off the needles at the end of her paws. She has no shame that one.  Well, she has to go to the vet on Monday, so she is about to learn what that is about. Tath won’t fare any better, he can’t behave… he acts as if he is shy… he needs to be socialized.  Tuesday it is my turn. Sigh. 

Wednesday is booked up too. They are coming to fix my TV, again.  The statement there is ‘3 times and you are out’. This is the second time.  Not sure what is going on there. It isn’t as if I have a lot of stations. Still, something is wrong.  No matter, they will come, fix it, and life will return to normal, while I continue to try to get Lost Kingdoms of the Empire written… I think I am nearly finished… I think.  We will see. Rolling eyes here.

I have a surprise announcement for everyone.  Cora has sent me the initial cover for Beyond the Myth. LOVE IT!!! Happy camper here.  It is different than all the others, but this story isn’t connected to any of them either.  I am sorry I can’t show it until the final file comes in, but you will get to see it either today, or tomorrow, depending when it gets here.  Sorry about that, but it is worth the wait.  You will probably begin to see the book popping up for preorder shortly after this, but first it has to pass all testing. Becca has that cased, it is just a matter of unloading the cover and we are good to go…. Doing Snoopy dance. 

Today is the last day of the event for Hunter’s Challenge on facebook.   Everyone is welcome.  It is also the release day for the book.  Another milestone covered. There will be a lot of them next year. The release of Kings of the Empire, in February. The release of Intercession in spring. The RTC Ottawa signing, at the same time as the release of Merika’s Story at the beginning of August. Then the release of Forbidden Contact in October, followed by the first of the One Empire Series, Lost Kingdoms of the Empire.  The good news is, that they will all be written and in different stages of edits before the end of this year.  I am even hoping to have The Phoenixes Choice done by the end of this year. Is it possible? I think so.  If luck holds, I might even sneak in The Siren Connection. Holding off on starting The Goddess until January.  I will follow that with Teryka Rose. Definitely should be interesting.
