I feel kitty feet on my sore shoulder… … Tath cat, the feet aren’t as tiny as Thena’s, but the weight makes up for the difference.   I don’t want to get up… “Mom.” he pleads….  … All right, all right… … getting up, trudging to the kitchen, opening up can of cat food, putting it into a dish and placing it on the floor.  Tath looks at it, sniffs and looks at me…  … “Don’t we get a second choice?”  Thena is more to the point, as she sniffs at it, then tries to bury it … … not working cat, this is a tiled floor, it doesn’t have litter on it… … “But we hate this one,” … … the two cats look at me.  Too bad, you still have 6 more cans to go… that means 6 more mornings.  (I know I am going to pay for this, one way or another0.   Turning back on cats, and trudging back to bed, while they head for the food dish and begin to eat… that is right kittens, suck it up or go hungry…   …. as if that is going to happen.  

It has been around 2 weeks since I have written anything and the ideas are beginning to take form for ‘Into the Demons Lair’, ‘Lost Kingdoms of the Empire’, ‘Forbidden Contact’ and ‘Hunter’s Challenge’.  Pushing them back, I have only read 3 books so far… good ones… but only 3.  Working on a 4th.  I have had so many interruptions from others that I am lucky I have gotten that done.  In the meantime the kittens have been making their marks on that time as well.

Neither Tath nor Thena seem to realize that those piles of cards, magnets and things are not toys… … no, they are not playing as much with their real toys and the floor looks like I have two children in the house.  They don’t want cat toys, they want to make a statement.  The message I am getting (loud and clear) is that they think I am spending too much time on the computer, ipad (Tath chewed the cover), reading, writing and doing other forms of paperwork.  They follow me everywhere… what are you doing mom, can we come, do you need help, is that good to eat, when do you think you will have time for a nap?  There are no naps allowed on your own in this house  and if you close the door (any door) with them on the other side, the world has come to an end.  Mom, why?   Mom, please, you can’t leave us alone like this… … we promise to let you go into another room without trashing it again… well, until next time.

I am waiting for Becca to have time to format ‘Integration’, which will probably be Wednesday or Thursday.   She will be able to do ‘Surrounded by the Light’ by then… and it is possible Sara will be finished going over ‘King’s Champion’ and that will have to be redone too… she is going to want to kill me by the time she is finished.  Morganna is working on ‘Tratchars’ and I assume it will be gone by the end of the month, which will then mean I will go through it and hand it to Sarah.  While Sarah is waiting for it she will be going through ‘Life Mate to a King’.  The back list of things to polish up is getting smaller.  Eniko is working on ‘Earwen’s Song’ and she informs me that I will have a lot of changing to do.  Sock it to me… I undoubtedly deserve it.  That is what happens when you rush things.  I will TRY to keep that in mind when I start to write on ‘Into the Demons Lair’.  

In the meantime, I heard the sound of kitty bodies falling through the blinds, as they try to catch the swallows on the other side of the window… … I am sure those swallows know about the windows, they tease those cats mercilessly.  Tath doesn’t seem to be as interested in the birds as Thena…  … but she makes up for both of them.  Well, time to clean up the mess in the house from nocturnal activities… we will talk to you next week.  In the meantime, be good, but not too good…
