It is warming up… YES!..
. the snow is melting and if what they say for temperatures is true over the weekend, we should be snow free by Monday.
Dancing all over the place.
On a less positive note they are supposed to plummet after the weekend,
at this point, however, I will take what I can get.
The sky is blue, the sun is shinning strong and I will have to make sure the kittens don’t take a dash for the great outdoors.
They are still small enough to attract the attention of the Eagles.
Yes, we have a few gorgeous hunting birds that check out the area often, Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Owls, to name a few.
Tath, especially, is still small enough that they could pick him up and fly off. (Not so much the Hawks & Falcons).
Eniko reports she is almost half way through the first edits on ‘Integration’... boogity, boogity..
. and she even showed off a partial page of the manuscript.
Bad,
or at least some will think so..
. is it good to be bad sometimes?
I decided that I am going to go over one of my old storylines, perhaps this month yet.
(Can’t leave Eniko get out of practice.)
I will finish off ‘Surrounded by the Light’ first though.
This is not why you have come to read this though, so I will get to the real reason.
The kittens are growing like weeds, not so much Thena, who has almost hit her full size,
but Tath.
He is going to be a big pussycat and has gained over a full pound since he arrived.
I can’t believe he has been here 3 weeks already,
it sure doesn’t feel that way and while he is still shy, he is coming out of it.
He is such an adorable little twerp.
Snoop must have had a talk with him before he came, at least in his kitten dreams.
Thena is still the jumping champion, but that is calming down a little, thank heavens.
To be fair there isn’t a dead fairy in the house yet.
(Although I did catch Tath nibbling on the goddess’ hand this morning.
I have given myself a list of things to do, which changed a little when my television died yesterday evening.
Yes, poor old thing, it went on, flashed blue, and went dark.
I have audio, but no more video, that means I bring the spare tv out of my bedroom, where it wasn’t being used anyway.
I will change the room around,
and do the usual clean up behind it,
then set the old one aside for little bro to take to the recycle place when he comes home for the weekend at the end of the month.
Yes, little bro will be here for 2 1/2 days, another quick trip.
Making up a short job list for him to do.
He has two children who have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other and he is coming between both, as per usual.
Everyone will be happy to see him.
Well, cutting this short. I have a list of things to do, breakfast to eat first or I will starve, and a chapter to write on ‘SBTL’.
That is just for starters, someone is waiting for another Elf fix, so I have lots of typing to do.
Until next weekend I will bid you Adieu and enjoy the springtime warmth.
Then I will see if the romping kittens will let me work.
It can be a challenge.
Loved it as usual. You are so right about the birds of prey. Had those to worry about in Montana till animals got older. We had Eagles too and they were huge, .They sound like they are calming down somewhat. So happy to hear your weather is breaking for the better. We never had winter. Going to be a long dry summer. Pet the kittens for me.
Heavens, I just love these Saturday posts-gives me a good laugh. Those two kitties are sure a handful. Scary about the eagles! Had that worry with my Teddy (dog) when we first got him-he fit in my hand. Always went out with him. Glad you are having a little break from the cold. Enjoy your day and hope you can get done what you have planned-if the kitties let you! 😉
The whole weekend has been great, almost no snow left, but we know better than to think this is the end of it, we do live in Canada and it can get nasty yet.
