I would like to thank everyone for their names, there was a wide variety of interesting and wonderful names, and after looking though them all, one was picked, out of two suggestions.
Our kitten has been named… yup, and she looks like she deserves it…
Athena RavensPaw… there is more to the registered name than that, but I am not about to get technical.
..although she might. Too bad cat.
Anyway, should we say she has marked out her territory before Tathar Silver Leaf has had a chance to lay claim to the best places…
like the pillow beside mine that Snoop slept on,
the area under the feather blanket, tucked into the crook of my arm… stuff like that.
She would have had Snoop issues if he would have still been here.
I will say, she is looking for her litter mates, but that will settle,
then Tathar will come and probably challenge her for right of possession…
… for some reason unknown to me I seem to be a kitten magnet.
(alright, cat magnet).
Oh yes, forgot to mention, she nags with her tiny voice... she isn’t loud like Snoop was.
Easier to ignore, if need be.
Wonder how Tath will be?
She also likes to get up at 6AM to play with sparkly pompoms, that should also be interesting with 2.
Sleep, where forth are you?
I haven’t been totally focused on the tiny pussycats, I did get a couple of chapters written this week… one on ‘Surrounded by the Light’ and one on ‘Integration’.
I am about to start another on integration, which will drag me into the 20% bracket.
Plan on writing another on ‘Surrounded by the Light’ before Christmas as well, though that might be tight.
Which brings me to the second reason for writing the blog this Saturday afternoon, this is the weekend before Christmas... and I am going to wish everyone a special one, filled with happiness and the meaning of the season.
It should be interesting to see if I have a tree left, although so far she just is interested in trying to chew on the artificial needles.
She is more interested in clearing things off shelves and counters.
I have also been shanghaied into doing some baking,
despite the lack of bodies coming this year… no matter, it will find a home.
My Christmas shopping has been done, baking almost finished, house is as clean as it is going to get, packages to be shipped out have been closed (some with the wrong cards in them) Blushing here.
Well, what the hay, if nothing else it connects people in the spirit of Christmas… and gives the mailman extra postage to deliver things to the right person in the end.
Muttering to self, reopen packages and make sure they are going to the right places.
Anyway, from Thena and I, wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas… and may you always be Surrounded by the Light
Thena is a gorgeous kitty, loved seeing her on Skype last night. I can’t believe how cuddly she is 😀
