Yup, it is Saturday and time to begin the day with a little style. I know, but it wasn’t my fault, Snoop wasn’t supposed to be there. He is proudly licking at his front paws and sending me little smirk looks as if to say, next time…. look. You have to have your eyes open for that, not pasted shut. Oh, did I mention it is allergy season? I love spring. You look outside and the world is filled with colors, the leaves seems so fresh and there are flowers blooming everywhere. (granted, most are dandelions). The Lilac bushes are in full bloom. I like to open the window when the breeze is carrying their fragrance in the direction of the house. The poor bushes look like they were pounded by the winter, though not all, some are a lot taller than I can reach. I know, no great feat…
Snoop is nagging at me, he wants to go outside to feel the sun on his fur. The poor old guy isn’t traveling far these days, and is birthday is in 2 weeks… how about that! I wonder is I should throw him a party. Worth thinking about. No not with other cats, he wouldn’t appreciate that.... although I could hear the hissing and growling strange cats in the house would cause. I could also imagine Snoop throwing catnip out the door to try get them out of the house. He doesn’t like catnip, doesn’t like strange cats and doesn’t like sharing. This is his home. Enter at your own risk… unless you are going to cuddle him and pet him. (No, giving him food and treats won’t give you brownie points.) He can be funny that way.
He has been trying to help me with my edits... lying on my hip when I recline in bed, or better stretching across my collarbone from shoulder to shoulder. It is up to me to decide how to see over his body, which isn’t actually that hard, or how to use my pen, which is considerably harder without disturbing him.
With luck I should be finished the reworking of ‘First Contact’ by Monday at the latest, or on Monday. Then it goes into the waiting to be edited bin. No, not my DB account this time, that file is too full and no one wants it there yet. I have made a lot of changes to make the storyline smoother and there is sure to be a lot more made. Or not. That could depend if Snoop was helping with the typing.
The bros out West have been wondering when I am going to come to visit again. I mentioned the possibility of next month, looking at what is available for seat sales. Those seem to be few and far in between at this time of the year… besides, Snoop doesn’t want me to go. He doesn’t like to sleep alone. (Too bad cat). He has gotten into the habit of napping in little bros bed, which makes me think he might know something I don’t. Could little bro be thinking of visiting again? Snoop always seems to know because the first thing he does is take possession of that bed... yes, little bro is slightly allergic. Again, I think Snoop knows.
Well, I have 4 more chapters to edit on ‘First Contact’ today, a nephew coming to cut my lawn, (which should take about 4 hrs. on the riding mower), a fried chicken lunch to make and more typing to do today. So… with that in mind it is time to toddle off to see what Snoop is nattering about and get back to business. As ever, have a good week and we will see you next Saturday.

Another good one. You make my Saturdays. I will have my oldest dogs for 9 days starting tonight. Sassy and Brandy are off to Missy’s house. That should be interesting. LOL Loved the blog. Hugs to Snoop.
