Snoop might never be the same.. . poor pussycat, he wasn’t so feeling so well. So off to the vet we went. (He was the picture of violated kitty, until he panicked each time she walked back through the door) Can we say rectal thermometer? Well, maybe not in front of Snoop right now. I also wonder how many times she has had to call for her assistant to get a cat untangled from the hair at the back and top their the cat’s owner. Snoop climbs really well when he sees the vet coming through the door. It is going to take a while for him to forgive me for taking him to see her, but he won’t forget, I guarantee it.
It is strange how we expect our animals to play nice when we take them to the doctors. I can’t claim to be much better as my doctors get me to sit on my hands during examinations. Sigh. Still don’t know who told the specialist I push and am apt to slap when a set of cold hands are headed in my direction.
The books in progress are moving along quickly. I only have about 20,000 words to go to reach the end of King’s Daughter. Luthien’s Song has a lot further to go, maybe about 55000 + but I know where I am headed so hopefully I will have both written, reworked and partly through the first set of edits by the end of February. Time flies when you are having fun. Those who are doing the editing are beginning to nag at me already and not all of them are finished with My Darling, Janice yet. (Something about running out of kleenex). I didn’t think it was that bad. Oh well, live and learn… and until next week I will see what I can get accomplished to report.
