When I went to bed last night I decided I would sit up and finish off the chapter I was writing on ‘Rebuilding the Empire of Light’. I only had a page left to go and I could go to sleep. Which was exactly what I did. It was midnight when I fell asleep. I woke up at 1:30, tried to go back to sleep. Wasn’t happening. Soooo… I decided to write another chapter, the last in the book. Maybe then I would be able to shutdown. Sigh. To make a long story short, I finished the book and started a new one. Here it is, after 9 and I am up for the day. There are things to do today. I have had worse nights, at least I got to finish the book.

The last edits for ‘Vengeance has a Daughter’ will be coming at me today, which means it will be ready for last proofread. I will pass ‘The Eagle Claw Legend’ across to the editor then, and it will probably be back within days to be passed on from there.

How did the bratz make out through this? I know of at least 1 sparkly pompom that made a lot of miles last night. So did Tath. I got the feeling Thena raked the entrance mats because there is parts of them at the far end of the house. It is past time to get their nails clipped. I am not sure what is brewing with those two, they have been taking turns wanting attention. when one is getting petted, the other is pouting because he or she isn’t in my arms. Result: I have a ton of typing to do and I am covered in cat hair. Sound familiar?

Beyond it being moderately hot, versus the stifling hot of last week, I really can’t complain. Though it may sound like I am. I am hoping Becca’s new computer arrives soon, she has been waiting for it to show up so she can format ‘The Warrior’ (which is something we are going to have a release party for on FB). Those are always fun.The moment she has that book formatted I will post the first chapter here.
