Spring is coming, but not quite yet, but there are definite signs of it, maybe. This is about the way the weather has been over the last couple of weeks. One day it will be melting, the next we are looking at temperatures of -20C, go figure.
The Elves have been taking it well. They are not in a hurry to run about in the snow barefooted.
I can’t say I blame them. Thena and Tath keep trying out the porch, not that they have the intention of going any further.
They get as far as the doorway and start to shiver.
If they go into the room, they race back out… it is cold in there. It is funny. If one refuses to come out when I am leaving the room, the other lets me know his or her friend is closed in the cold room.
I tell them it is their own fault for not listening, then open the door for them.
It usually takes about 1-2 minutes, max. Like I said, the room is cold.
I have finished writing ‘The Eagle Claw Legend’ and am working on the initial stages of reworking the manuscript now. I should be finished in a few hours and I will go on to other things. I have begun to write on ‘Rebuilding the Kingdom of the Light’. Timorean has gone to see what his niece’s Life Mate has been doing while the Elf waits for her to grow up. It has been a while since I have written anything in this series and I am thinking of bumping one of the releases next year to make room for it.
As I am talking about one of the stand alones being pushed aside for one of the stories in a series, I doubt if anyone will complain much. I think I will probably go back to Tantalus for a while when the one for the ‘One Empire’ is finished.
I have such a list of stories to write I am keeping notes on them already.
Notice, I am not going to say much about the pandemic? I believe the media is doing enough of that for the both of us. I plan on not doing much different than I have already done. I am not taking it as lightly as it might sound. I have been somewhat of a recluse lately, if you don’t take into account that the company has been doing exceptionally well. Still, it is time I got back to writing or it is possible my brains will rust.
Well, before I get dragged away from the computer again, I will sign off. I have things to show you, but will do that at another time, just to give us all something to do. Take care everyone and, until next weekend, be good, but not too good.
What is being good? 🙂 How is Nelson doing, we have been thinking about him and sending healing thoughts.
Nelson has a long road to travel before he will be fully healed. He is hurting and frustrated with his new boundaries. I am sure he will find his way though, he is strong.
Being good is different for different people. 😉
