You know that when the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, it is getting to be that time of the year when we look for the guy dressed in red. With that said, I would like to wish all my American friends a very happy Thanksgiving. Yes, I know it is over, but this still counts. I hope you all had a wonderful time, surrounded by friends and family. It seems to me we are doing less and less of this sort of thing, so enjoy it while you can.

As you can all tell by my posts on Facebook, I am working feverishly on ‘Vengeance has a Daughter’ in hopes that I will be finished it before Christmas. I know I said I had hoped to have not only this done before now, but also be at a point where I would be looking at finishing ‘The Eagle Claw Legend’, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen any time soon. Well, perhaps in January. I do still want to take a break after, but again, we will see what happens as I am behind in writing anything on the One Empire Series. Sigh. Why does it always seem like I am behind when I have releases written into 2021?

The question I have been asked is, when will ‘Vengeance has a Daughter’ be released? Good question. It depends when the editing department finishes with it. They have a huge backlog, so I can’t really blame them for taking time. We all have lives and it doesn’t revolve around each other and these stories. We may want to live in these worlds, depending on the circumstances therein, but that isn’t the way things are. Lets say at this time, I am going to need to do some switching around of release dates to fit it in with everybody’s schedules. Lets face it, I haven’t even finished writing it yet.

Today, I am going to write another chapter or two on ‘Vengeance has a Daughter’, which I really can see the end coming up on, maybe another eleven chapters. (Even they seem longer than normal.) I have a batch of chilli cooking in the crockpot. This time it even fits and isn’t running over the side. I am going to bleach part of the kitchen floor and I am thinking of vegetating thereafter until the evening hits. (Note to self, when I make plans like this, they seldom happen.) Do I have a list? I always have a list of things to do. It is all part and parcel of who I am.
