Well, things are about the get busy. Although, to be honest, they already are. I went to see the surgeon yesterday, so far so good. There will be more tests but I have passed the important ones. Today is pedicure time and I have a few projects that need to get done. (Not to mention I need to weigh the suitcase and make sure there is weigh allowance available for a few essentials. Tomorrow I have company coming. Monday I will shake down the house. Tuesday is for the manicure, a quick stop in the city, then back home to have my hair done. Wednesday I get on the flight and head for Hamilton, where Eniko will be waiting for me.

In the midst of it all, I am pulling cats out of the suitcase and enjoying the fall weather. The snow we got hit with last weekend is gone, but it scared us for a bit. Much too early for the white stuff and power failures. Some people have been out of power for a week already, but the end is in sight. Thena and Tath didn’t mind that the power was off for 24hrs. They curled up in bed with me and shared their heat all night. We did all right. They can barely wait for me to take a writing break though. I hate to tell them this doesn’t seem to be getting any closer to happening than it was a month ago. Tath has taken to attacking me at the computer, which I am afraid could be more frequent because I am way behind on my typing.

How is the new book coming? I am not sure when I will reach the end. Each time I finish a chapter another follows in my mind that is needed too much to stop there. The main character is not getting any older and she needs to before the end can be written. This is scary stuff. Everyone smiles when I tell them this. When I next write a blog, I will do a cover reveal, as well as a synopsis so you get a look at what I have been doing. The big announcement will come at Kalicon on Thursday afternoon, looking forward to seeing new and old friends there.

Well, I am going to cut this short. Everyone is running around, trying to tie up loose ends, and there is so much to do. Of course there are always glitches that needs to be seen too as well. So, until weekend after next, have a good one…
