If I would be working on an ordinary manuscript, I would say I have crossed the half way point. I am not sure where I am at this time with this one. Nothing like trying something new. I have followers who are very happy to hear about this because it looks like this book is going to be huge. The main character also needs to grow up, she is still a child. It will come though.

I talked to Eniko this morning. That didn’t go well. I told her what I was about to do in one series and she wasn’t pleased about it. I mean, we all die sooner or later, right? It is a fact of life none of us want to face. At any rate, we will undoubted talk about this face to face when we next see each other.

The weather here decided to turn cold fast as we had our first frost last night. It could be worse, Calgary got snow. If you haven’t been acclimatized yet, that can feel down right brutal. The weather has had the feeling of fall about it, but up until last night, it hasn’t been cold enough to have frost. Now, we will see where this is going to take us. I know the bratz thought it was bad enough to curl up further under the covers.

Becca got the proof for ‘Equals’ yesterday, but it was late in the day and she was at work already when it showed up at her door. This means I will get to find out if it is good or not later today because she will have been too tired this morning to check on it when she got back from work. What does it mean if it is good to go? It means I have gotten everything together for Kalicon in time. Now it is time to make sure things are shipped with a little breathing space. I think we have most of this cased though.

It looks like I will have a Christmas release this year, ‘An Elven Love Song’, which I wasn’t going to set out as a lonely Ebook, but people have been pushing. I was only going to put it at the back of ‘The Priestess’ paperback as a bonus read. It seems others want to read it too, even if they don’t buy the paperback. Who would have thought it.

I asked Sarah if she would like to stay on to do the shorter things, like ‘An Elven Love Song’, but I don’t think it is really going to happen. I am not going to push, her health is more important than the story. Other than that, I will be getting Tanya to do the edits now and see how this goes. Marie is working on ‘The General’, Eniko is going through ‘The Warrior’, Candy is quickly finishing off ‘The Priestess’. In the middle of October, Tanya will go through ‘The Priestess’ and ‘An Elven Love Song’. Betty will do a quick proofread after to see if anyone missed something, which happens in the best of books.

After I have finished what I am working on, I will be working on a short story I haven’t named yet, but it will be about young Gabriel Eagle Claw and how he got to be the Legend he became later in life. I am hoping to be finished by Christmas, then I am going to take a break. I am going to read my pb backlog, then attack some of the books I have on my Ipad while I decide which storyline to work on next. I do have quite a selection and several stories to match each.

Anyway, this is getting very long and it is time I got busy at this end… making C.C. Cookies today and shaking up the house a bit. So, on that note… have a good week and see you next Saturday.
