Well it looks like things might be looking up. Becca did the formatting on ‘Equals’ last night and it has passed most tests already.
I sent the artwork off to Cora and it has come back , we are checking it over sometime this morning. If all goes well, I should be able to order the proof today yet. Heaving a great sigh of relief.
Tath and Thena are feeling neglected, well up to a point. They always feel that I owe them more attention than I can give, so they romp through most of the night to get a few more actions in.
They are beginning to think the pen is taking too much time from them and Tath, is taking it out on the pen. Yes, you heard it right, he is knocking it off anything he can find it unguarded on. I think he figures it has to run out of juice sooner or later. Should I tell him I have a new refill? I have to admit, this one has lasted a long, long time.
We decided we are going to release ‘An Elven Love Song’ on its own as an ebook and inserted into the back of ‘The Priestess’ paperback. It is about Matrium and how she met her Life Mate and how he won her heart.
You have met her in other books in the Guardians of the Empire series.
How am I doing on the WiP? I get the definite feeling this this going to be one very long book. I am working on Chapter XIV and the heroine is only 12. It is also very dark in places, something not totally new to me, but I find challenging to write.
How is everyone else doing? We are getting ready to pass ‘The Priestess’ on to the new editor. This should be interesting, but it will be done in time for its release. I will have to book her time to do ‘Angelika Leanne’ after, which is the spring release. ‘The Warrior’ will follow in summer. If luck holds out, which is anyone’s guess. my WIP will follow that one in fall.
How has everyone been holding out there? Becca has been ill over the last few weeks, but she says she is slowly getting better. Eniko seems to be holding in there, I hope she continues to improve. Sarah has kidney stones, and we know how painful those can be. She says she would go through natural childbirth without complaint after experiencing it. Something I wondered about but wasn’t about to experiment with.
Well, I am going to end this fast. I have a dozen things to do and still need to get more writing done. One of these days I will need to begin typing again too. When the pile gets too high, I hate to look at it. So, without further ado, have a good one until next weekend when I will return…
