Can you feel it coming? Spring! I am not saying it is going to happen overnight, but it is warming up and, well lets face it, it is March and we are heading for April.
We are even beginning to see temperatures above the freezing point and I can almost taste the freedom.
I don’t think the cats are feeling much different, although they never go outside even in summer, and when they do, they don’t know how to handle it. Tath hides somewhere and Thena stands in the grass and screams because she is overwhelmed by the space.
Go figure. Inside, they have been throwing hissy fits at each other. One pecks and the other has attitude.
Yes, it does sound like a little brother and older sister situation, or even the other way around.
They would rather not have the other in their space right now, unless it is cold and they need the extra heat.
I understand these things.
How is the reworking coming? Well, I have to admit I was lazy and still have 6 chapters to do on ‘The Warrior’.
This means it will be done probably by tomorrow, because I have to make the changes on the main file yet on what I did yesterday.
When I am finished, I will throw it into a draft file to be sent to the editing department and rework Chapter I of ‘The Tratchar’. I have offered to do a small blip of a story on the Elven children too, which I will probably streak through over the next week, reworking and all before sending it off too.
I am rather looking forward to it, although the difficult part will be to keep it down to a reasonable size.
You know how the Elven children get carried away.
I plan on taking a couple of weeks off from doing any heavy duty writing and, when I pick up the pen again, I will begin on ‘The Tratchar’ in earnest. I already have half of it planned out, for all the good that does. The characters will get involved and take over what I am saying about them. Sound familiar?
As far as the rest of those that are involved in edits, I have nothing to report. I have heard from no one for a couple weeks. So, on that note, I am going to give a wave and get to work on the manuscript of ‘The Warrior’. Until next week, have a good one and enjoy our pre-spring weather.
Hope we don’t get storms.
Yay, you deserve some time off and enjoy it!! You are ahead in your writing so relax. Glad things are warming up a little. I couldn’t live in your neck of the woods-couldn’t take the cold!!!! Enjoy your weekend.
