Well, I am back. Did we have fun you ask? I think so, as even the Elves are running around with expressions that give me the idea they are plotting. I am not saying what is going on in their minds though, as it might not have anything to do with the past weekend.
You never know with them.
So, now that Kalicon 2018 is over and Halloween has been celebrated, it is time to get back to work.
It is the month of Nanowrimo. What does that mean?
Time to kill another pen or two. I am beginning to work on ‘The Priestess’.
Granted, I would get further working on ‘The General’ because Gabriella and T’Harris are still yammering in my ears, but their book is still 4 books away.
I need to have limits here. I am hoping to have Britallia and Talus’ book written by Christmas.
If I do, I will take a small reading break then begin Ilénè and Kestriel’s book. There is nothing like matching a free spirited Dark Elven Princess with a staid High Elven Prince that happens to also be one of the Guardians of the Empire.
I have also been asked if I would consider doing a novella in this series, something I had no intension of doing in the beginning, but this is for Matrium, so it might be possible, just not any time soon. That Light Elven Female must have been quite the character at one time.
I would call it ‘An Elven Love Song’.
After all, she deserves to tell her story too, right?
You will wonder how the bratz managed the separation while I was gone. Bro #3 says it was better this time than the last and I have to admit the house looked like it.
The rooms were not trashed this time. There were still greetings when I first spoke, with Thena yelling mama and Tath with his Siamese sounding mom.
There was no getting further into the house than the entrance for a little while, then they were both headed for the bed, although it was much to early to call it a day.
So, beyond writing, what have I got planned? I have to admit not much. November is transition month that usually heralds winter and delivers that white stuff that won’t leave for several months… you know what I am talking about.
It isn’t that I mind the white stuff, but I hate the ice that comes with it.
Ice is difficult to drive on.
Anyway with a few surprises to show you that will be coming up later, I have little else to say. I hope everyone had a great time during my absence and will continue to do so now that I am back.
Until next week, have a good one and we will see if we can get everyone motivated so I cam give a report on progress next week.
