The month of September is coming to an end quickly, which means that next Saturday I won’t be writing a blog. Why, you ask?
Because I will be in London, Ontario at IYSAE18. It should be a blast.
I fly out on Thursday and return, well that is to be seen yet, because Flair Air has thrown curves at me in the form of cancelling my flight and rebooking it at a time when I will be at the signing yet.
I told them I couldn’t make that flight and, at first, they said I could get a refund because of this. Didn’t turn out that way. They refused in the end.
Now, they want another 125.00 to rebook on a different day. Not only that, but they want more for the flight as well.
Not doing this.
This is so unfair. I also believe it is against the law, but my friends are betting they get away with it anyway because they already have the money.
As for the other matters, rumour has it I will be getting ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ back this weekend. That means it will be shot out to Betty asap, so she can do the final proof read.
When it comes back, I will fire it out to Becca, who I hope has the time to do the formatting.
Of course you know that this is not going to run smoothly already, then why should it, nothing else is.
(I know, not nice to be so sarcastic). Anyway, the moment I have a page count from Becca, Cora is set up to do the back cover and the proof will be run.
(Not sure who with yet because although Createspace says they can do it, Amazon is taking over on that front. Le Sigh.
I have a month from now to get finished copies to Eniko, so I have them for Kalicon at the end of October. Not to mention that this book is set to release in the first week of November. I am so behind.
And onwards, the bratz are feuding in the Kitchen as I write this. Thena had her place all set this morning, on top of me and Tath knocked her off and took it away.
Now, she was hogging the hot air register and he is letting her know that won’t be allowed, because he wants that spot, she is not about to let him get away with that, and the games are on.
Well, I need to chase off, so much to do this week before I leave. Shaking up the house, getting my hair and nails done, checking in with the doc one last time before I catch my flight out, and yes, fighting with Flair Airlines.
Until the first weekend in October, have a good one my friends.
That’s just so wrong with the Airline. They defaulted, not you, so why should you have to pay extra. Leave it to the Dynamic Duo, always fighting over something. Hope your brother will be able to cope with them. 🙂
