Giving a cheer here, ‘Spirit of the Light’ is finished. Well, the rough manuscript is. I will go in and do some spit and polish on it now before it goes to the next person to be edited.
In the meantime, I am also working on reworking ‘Equals’, and it is growing.
By the end of the upcoming week, I expect to be into ‘The Princess’.
This one should be a lot of fun, at least in the beginning, because it starts with the Eagle Claw children deciding that their Princess needs to be guarded from her Life Mate.
That will change as they find out that she is that Guardian’s Life Mate. Then it is a moot point. After all, they will get together sooner or later anyway, so why bother.
The Blue Dragons will get into the act too and we all know how territorial they can be.
What is a Gold Dragon to do?
I have been inundated with nag cats. Tath, especially is very vocal and extremely loud. Thena has more of a softer tone, and she doesn’t have that Siamese yowl to her the way Tath does.
She isn’t as standoffish as he is either. Where he will stand and question if he should go ahead and accept an invitation to cuddle, she will run in to take his place and flop herself onto me and begin purring.
Is she worried that he is going to trounce her? If she is, she isn’t showing it.
In the meantime, he has this ‘Ya, right,” look on his face and his ears are spread sideways.
He is getting amusing when it comes to meeting others too. He is coming out of his shyness, slowly but surely.
With some it is ‘Hi, pet me’, with others it is ‘I am here but don’t look at me too closely or I am gone.’ With some of the members of the family, he runs and hides. (Go figure).
Thena is my hiss Queen.
It has turned cold again, but they are saying that it is supposed to warm up after this upcoming week. I am getting to the point where I can barely wait until spring. I need some color in my life.
I am also looking forward to the signings I am going to be in this fall. One in London Ontario and the other in Bellevelle.
It should be interesting. Wondering already how many people I will know, and how many new people I will get to meet.
Well, there isn’t much else to say. I have a house to shake down, not that it is very dirty, just has a lot of cat hair on the floor. It seems to accumulate overnight for some reason. Gotta love swiffers. On that note, I better get mine moving, wishing you all a great week, I will return…
Busy, busy – never any end. Wishing for warmer weather for you too. If I could I would box some of our warm weather to you – we’re more like Spring instead of winter – has been so crazy this year. Try to enjoy your weekend and until next week~~~
