It is December, can you believe it? This year, nasty as it was from my point of view, flew by quickly. I am hoping things are better next year, for everyone.
To look at it from a different perspective, not everything was bad.
I got to go to Ottawa for the first time, which sounds strange in some ways when you stop to think that I have been to London, England three times.
Next year I will be going to London, Ontario. Definitely different.
I put up my village this year, and my little Snoopy tree, yes, Snoopy is there. There isn’t much snow, but that is fine in my books, it hasn’t been terribly cold, but that is alright too, as long as there isn’t a lot of ice that we have to drive on.
That stuff is scary. It is, however, supposed to cool down later next week and we are heading for minus double digits. We will see what else happens.
I always tell myself things could be worse. Actually the lower double digits are not that bad.
Thena and Tath bounce around the house, chasing each other around, while Thena complains that he is being over rambunctious. I chuckle because she is the ‘bring it on’ pussycat of the two of them.
Tath is more laid back, you just have to watch to see what he thinks he can get away with when you aren’t looking.
Right now, despite my having cleaned the house, it looks like a couple of kids have gone wild in here.
Yes, there are cat toys everywhere. Some get a lot more air miles with those two than others.
I need to get back to typing again, I have 6 chapters written that need to go into the computer on ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ and 1 chapter to add to ‘The General’. ‘Hidden Kingdoms’ is going to be longer than I thought, but that is hardly news.
‘The General’, you ask? I am in the early stages yet, but you are all going to absolutely love T’Harris.
Gabriella doesn’t stand a chance to get away from that man. What is a poor High Lord General to do when she tries to fight the will of the Fates?
Anyway, I should get back to finishing off the chapter I began last night, because the next one is pushing heavily at the back of my mind. I have 2 more visions to get through to reach the end of this book. I will them be doing the short story that follows, I call that one ‘Spirit of the Light’.
And again, the storyline is poking at me to be written. As far as that goes, so is ‘Angelika Leanne’.
I am also in the midst of getting the cover done for ‘Teryka Rose’, along with another project. During all this I am waiting for my editors to come back to me with some of the backlog and hoping I can sneak in a small 2 week break over the holidays before beginning ‘The Princess’ and ‘The Priestess’.
Later will be the time to write Angelika’s story. Lots of fun coming up.
With that in mind, it is time for me to head off. So, until next week, be good, because Santa is watching.
Can’t believe it’s already December. Seems the older we get, the faster it goes. 😦 Will be nice for you to get some more reading in, I know you have quite a few books waiting! I don’t envy your cold weather that’s coming-too cold for me. Enjoy your day.
