Happy 150th, Canada. Of course it had to rain last night, but that is a good thing, right? It is just making sure that the world below is ready for all the fireworks tonight. No, I won’t be going to see them, but for those who will, enjoy. It will only be a few days, and then the U.S.A. will be celebrating their 4th of July celebration, which is slightly more famous than ours it. No matter, being second best, we try harder and enjoy more.

Thena knows all about that kind of thing, not that she comes in second best, but since their down and outter a couple of weeks ago, she has been acting strangely. Tath isn’t much better, but sheesh, their noses are seriously out of joint with each other. They are good with each other, as I think I mentioned before, but if I am in the mix things aren’t looking good. They do not want to share me like they used to. All or nothing, and this is not a good thing. If it is cool in the house at night and, Thena decides she wants under the blanket, she takes a lot of coaxing to get her to take her place. Tath just gives a kitty groan when she does. He knows better than to strike out at her, and the same in reverse. If she is in place under the covers, it is the same from her, or he just won’t come in. Take me out of the picture, and they curl up nicely together, wash each other down, cuddle up and go to sleep with no problem. Go figure. Maybe I should put them in a room of their own, but when I tried, it didn’t work so well.

Well, from all accounts, most of the backlog has gone through the edits. By the end of next week, They should be formatted and, maybe even have back covers, those that need them. That would mean that the proofs for the paperbacks would be here the following week. If everything is good to go, I will have a few copies to give out to my team. I am not forwarding ‘Teryka Rose’ to anyone until after RTC Ottawa is over.

So, to make this very short, I hope that everyone enjoys their celebrations, whether it doesn’t mean anymore, this time, than sleeping in to get some extra well-deserved and needed Zzzzs, or partying until you drop, before the fireworks. Lets all celebrate our countries, for they are ones we can be proud of.
