The sound of something crashing in my room, followed by a white streak that resembles a Tath cat on the run, is a sign of trouble. You can bet on it. After checking on what happened, all I can say is Tath 2 points, plastic sewing case, zip.
I am surprised it still works after being knocked over.
To be fair to Tath, he is still skulking around, and checking around corners, after half an hour…
yes, it was that loud.
Thena, you ask? She became immediately invigorated, although I doubt if she can run much faster than she has been most of the day.
She is ready to rumble, and looking for someone to help her get into trouble, even if she was afraid. in the beginning, that she would get the blame for this.
There may be no sleep in this house tonight.
News of the week, and there is precious little of it, I am nearly finished with the main edit of ‘The Goddess’. I am hoping to have it in the editing files next week.
As it is Easter week, I have decided to wait until after Easter to begin on ‘Teryka Rose’.
Eniko is working on ‘The Phoenixes Choice’ and ‘The Siren Connection’, and to be fair to her, she has been under a lot of pressure at work and needs the weekend to recuperate. Personally, I think she needs a little serious party time.
Becca is also talking about formatting Merika’s Story during the upcoming week, and that will be another job crossed off the list.
Well, I took Thena to the vet, and she is going to run some tests on her. She can’t find anything wrong, and yet there is.
Go figure. She has already been diagnosed with a problem that is genetic, and for that I can blame her breeder in California. Some people shouldn’t be allowed to market kittens.
Tath, on the other hand is healthy and very handsome. The vet says if I would have showed him, he would have went grand and ‘best of show’ each and every time.
He is such a shy kitty though.
I am going to be very laid back this upcoming week. I will shake down the house, and read.
Oh yes, and I think we have mega safeties to run through.
Other than that, it is time to rest this shoulder. It isn’t only the kitties that get into trouble here.
On that note, I am going to cut this short, and tend to the changes I made on the manuscript. I can really get excited when I see the end of the reworking being done on the rough file, and I can barely wait to see ‘The Goddess’ in print.
(But first, ‘The Phoenixes Choice’ and ‘The Siren Connection’ needs to be done.
It is going to be a rough 4 months to RTC Ottawa, and I will get into that on another day.
I shudder when I begin making lists, and they extend for pages, with things that need to be done.
Until next week, have a good one, and enjoy your Easter week in whichever form you chose to take advantage of it.
So sorry to hear about Thena and hope it’s not something serious! Unfortunately, you never know what could be wrong with an animal if the breeder doesn’t tell you. You would think they would know and tell you! . 😦 About time you took a break – enjoy some time off and hope you have a good weekend. Hope Tath has calmed down from his scare. 🙂
Enjoyed it as usual. For a change it is Tath getting into trouble.Praying for Thena to be alright. It is hard when she is running around like she is alright to know something is wrong. Cannot wait to read the Goddess. You authors have me wishing the years away. LOLn
