So, I couldn’t find my ipad to take a video of Thena yesterday afternoon, but boy would that have been worth it.  She had been getting into trouble on the kitchen table (yes, the one she really isn’t supposed to be on, but spends half of her life on).  She had her little green sparkly pompom and she decided she was going to put it into the kleenex box and take it out again.  I think you know where this is going … she got her head stuck in the box.  I was in the other room and keep hearing this thumping, and went to investigate.  I burst out laughing, because she couldn’t see where she was going and kept trying to knock this box off of her head.  It wasn’t working and she was tripping over everything in her way.  Eventually I found the ipad just in time for her to go tumbling off the table and onto a chair, where the box popped off.  Tath sat at my feet and watched.  When it was over he gave me this look, you know the one, and then went to lie down on my chair, where I would have to pick him up to sit.  Thena ran after him and attacked him.  She was in a mood to rumble.

So, and I know you don’t want to hear this, I am finished one of my typing projects, and I have typed out five chapters of ‘The Goddess’.  This puts me at the point where I have over 49,000 words in the file, with ten chapters yet to type out.  I figure I have approximately 70,000 words of the book written, which means I have about another ten chapters to write, which sounds about right for what is in my mind.  I also received the cover for ‘Rising from the Ashes’, which is ready for the formatting file, as it has been edited, so you know that all the books for this year are ready to go.  

Eniko is working on the edits for ‘The Phoenixes Choice’, as well as ‘The Siren Connection’, which I just got the cover for as well.  At the speed I am going, I should be finished writing and reworking ‘The Goddess’ by the end of the month.  I will then plunge into ‘Teryka Rose’, which I am hoping to finish by the end of May.  I am still hoping to have some reading time in or around July, before RTC Ottawa.  

I am nearly finished the jar project from the basement, and really looking forward to the end of it.  Something tells me I really need to visit the recycle station after this.  I know I am going to have a long hot bath when it is over, because I really feel as if a shower isn’t quite enough, if you know what I mean.

I will be getting more company books to do next week, and those I will go through quickly, while I finish my typing project.  I also have several income tax forms to fill in… Yes, I sometimes think I should go somewhere and shoot myself, but I might have to clean up that mess too.

Anyway, the gist of the whole thing is that things really are beginning to come together.  Relief will happen when the government papers are filed.  Who is with me on this, I hate doing income taxes.  I swear they have people who think up ways to make it more complex each year.  Well, back to work here, Thena is into something again, and Tath has come to tell me about it.  Either that or he is telling me that nap time is over and it is time to go to bed.   Until next week, take care and keep thinking, spring is coming, for me that doesn’t mean a while yet.
