I am not talking about Tath and Thena, who do this on a regular basis – to give them credit, they tend to leave me along when I am sick.  Then, they content themselves with snuggling.  Or running up and down my suffering body, as they chase each other with intent.  That is much the way it went this week, which makes me wonder what is up with the weather outside.   We are definitely about to get warmer weather, I know that much, the weatherman told me.  The question is, do I trust him at this point, or not.  It sure has been a rollercoaster of a winter with temperatures ranging from -48C to 5C, and rain in January!  The snow doesn’t know if it should melt, or stay frozen.  It also leaves us wondering if winter tires are enough, or if we should put skates on the vehicles, because there can be times when the ice can get thick on the highway. 

All that put aside, it is the last week of the sale and I have returned all that was on sale before, back to their regular price, while ‘Into the Demons Lair’ and ‘Kings of the Empire’ go on sale.  Yes, I am discounting ‘Kings of the Empire’ by $2.00 for this upcoming week only.  This is in celebration of the release of the final volume in the Elven Chronicles’.   Will it be the last you will see of our Elves?  No.  They will be returning in ‘EC: One Empire, at least those who survived the Drazon war will be back.  Their descendants will make themselves next year in the ‘Guardians of the Empire’.  We will cross that border closer to release time, I am still writing book 1 of the Guardians book.  

How is ‘The Goddess’ coming along?  I am nearly half finished at this point, but there are so many interruptions that it has been difficult to keep my focus.  Not to worry though, it is coming.  How are the others coming?  Well, Sarah says she is close to finishing ‘Merika’s Story’ and I should have it shortly.  ‘Rising from the Ashes’, formerly known as ‘Lost Kingdoms of the Empire’, has been renamed, and is waiting for Sarah in her file for her attention.  She will be glad to hear that it is a short one.  ‘The Phoenixes Choice’ is creeping forward, or so I assume, as Eniko tends to more serious things – and yes, there is definitely more serious things.  There is no rush.

We are getting closer to finishing off our plans for RTC Ottawa, and that time is getting closer.  I am taking more of an active part in that event than I thought I would, and no, I have absolutely no idea what I have gotten into, but I will find out.  Sink of swim, I am in at the deep end.

For this week, I nearly have to write up notes to remind me of all that needs to be done.  I have a mini family reunion to attend with the cousins tomorrow.  The sale throughout the week.  Tuesday there will be a special surprise for everyone to check out on another website.  Wednesday and Thursday, Eniko and I am hostessing an event on Facebook, with Ashley in the wings to take over when we are missing.  Friday, the review on ‘Kings of the Empire’ will be released on THE READING CAFE, along with other news that is theirs to tell.  I also have a small tour going on, but we are still working on those details yet.  At least I think we are?  Well, we will all find out what is going on there. 

Well, this has gone on long enough, it is time for me to run… I am hearing the sounds of a cat bullying his way to the warmest register, when the other one beat him to the punch.  That is a no-no and he knows it.  Until then, keep well, and this one is especially true for one of our followers who fell a week or so ago and broke her hip.  She knows who she is, sending prayers and good healing vibes her way.  Until next week, stay well…
