Have to say I am proud of my techno bunny, Becca. She has done a great job of revamping the website, it looks great.
Eniko added a few suggestions, which were taken into consideration, and the job isn’t quite complete yet, but I think it looks really good.
While they worked their magic, I typed on ‘Intercession’. I am over the 50000 word mark in my typing and still have eight more chapters to go to catch up to where I am writing.
Yes, I am currently writing on Chapter XXVIII.
With luck I could be finished the rough manuscript by the end of nest week and looking at reworking it the following week.
That said, I have no idea where the others are at, which I usually try to have some idea.
I know Sarah is working as hard as she can on ‘Kings of the Empire’, but she is also in a lot of pain from her knee.
Being in pain isn’t very conducive to clear thinking.
Morganna, I know is going through ‘Hunter’s Challenge, but she is also doing double time at work.
She is also taking a leave of absence from the team to return to school at the end of the month, so this will probably be her last manuscript until she is finished that.
Going to miss her, but still wishing her the best of luck there.
I have two manuscripts ready to go through final proof read. One ‘Beyond the Myth’ won’t have a cover until the middle of September. By then ‘Kings of the Empire’ and ‘Hunter’s Challenge’ will be ready for print too.
The moment I am finished with ‘Intercession’ I am going to have to shake up the house. I have let things go long enough.
There is cat hair everywhere.
Thena and Tath feel this is this more their place than mine.
It isn’t that it is going to really take that long to do, but the swiffer is really going to be full. (if you know what I mean.)
As far as the two bratz are concerned, they are beginning to settle down, mostly.
Thena still runs around in circles, going meow meow in her tiny squeak little voice. and Tath watches her, unless he thinks there is something going on…
yes, you guessed it ..
. shaking down the house should be a challenge. They will be charging full bore from one end of the house to the other, always underfoot while I try to sweep and dust.
I have to admit it is funny to watch them, as long I am not doing it from on the floor because I tripped over one of them.
(As you can imagine, sweeping the hair into a pile to pick up with the dustpan could be a challenge. No matter, it will be done.
The weather has been interesting, it is monsoon season, has been all summer so far. You can expect a shower in the evening or rain most of the day.
Yes, the grass loves it.
I admit, the smell of rain is great, but I would like to think we got a taste of summer before the fall weather begins to set in.
I have foreseen the end of the Tantalus Series. I will be writing ‘The Phoenixes Choice’ in August/September, I will follow it at a later day with a novella, a last novel & then a last novella, which I will combine with the other two novellas in print.
So you know I have 4 more releases after ‘Forbidden Contact’ which releases next October/17.
The spinoffs from the Elven Chronicles will begin to show up on the market beginning next Christmas season, if all goes well, with Lost Kingdoms of the Empire. 2018 will unveil the first novel from ‘Guardians of the Empire’.
I know there will be 3 novels in Guardians for sure, and that is just for starters, they will be ‘The Goddess’, ‘The Elven Princess’ and ‘The Priestess’. I will also introduce some stand alones in between them, so you don’t get bored with the same old stuff.
Well, it is time to check out my soggy cereal, and see if Thena has had her nose in it. She had a hissing good time at the vets yesterday, when she went for her check up. Tath,
he hid as much as we would let him… you could hear his thoughts in his actions… no, you can’t do this to me .
.. please, mama… I don’t want to go.
Never saw a cat like that, difficult to put into the cage, and when you get to the other side, just as difficult to take out.
I swear he left gouge marks inside the cage. Well, on that note, time to leave for another week. I will have a surprise for everyone soon.
I will keep you posted… or probably just spring it on you.
Again, great job on the website and until next week, have a good one…
Love what our Techno Bunny did with the website. Awesome work Becca!
Looks like your schedule is filled to the brim, but I am not complaining 😀 my red pen is feeling lonely and unused LOL
We will see what can be done about that, starting in August
Yes Becca the site looks great . Envy your talent . It sounds like you live in the tropics instead of Canada. LOL We have the pet hair problem too. Dogs are as bad or worse for that. Sassy doesn’t shed but Brandy does enough for two
Snoop didn’t seem as bad as these 2 do
