You ever get the impression that the cat is saying that, just because he or she doesn’t want you to think they like what you are doing to them? No, I don’t want you to pet me, so you put the kitty down.
.. get back here, where do you think you are going?
The things they don’t have to put up with..
. mauling..
. also known as cuddling..
. playing..
. also known as getting roughed up (Tath really hates that… right.)
Tucked under the blanket..
. also known as forced confinement.
And they will jump into your arms at the most inopportune moment.
.. taking cake out of the oven.
.. typing … writing… frying bacon… and they give you that look..
. aren’t I cute?
Right, like a stomach pump.
.. catch me on the flip side, when I am not doing anything.
.. but that is never… also, on whose timetable?
You also know what something is up when both race into your bedroom at 5:45AM and jump on you, your nose twitches, you open your eyes and they immediately begin to water, and you think..
. “Oh man, did you have to drag that scent into the room from the other side of the house?
I’m dying here.”
Burrowing further into the pillow so you don’t have to subject your senses to what they just must have finished doing.
I have begun to write again, and as anyone who is in the circle can tell you it is not much and not too fast, I am getting back into the mode though. The first 5 chapters of intercession are done (No, not typed yet), and I have 6 or 7 more on the list where the characters are telling me what they want to say.
I do know where I am going with this, I really do.
Not so much with The Phoenixes Choice, but that has time to develop.
I could probably write Lost Kingdoms of the Empire right now, but I will do that some time in late fall, before I rework Merika’s Story.
Yes, I know, I have a slight tendency to overrate my ability to get things done in my time slot. It will all work out in the end.
I have more or less set a time for going West for a little over a week, towards the end of July. I am hoping to have Intercession done by then, no promises.
The idea of being able to write 35 or so chapters (give or take) in 6 weeks, plus reworking them) can be daunting.
I also have to do finish the edits for Hunter’s Challenge before August, and Morganna hasn’t finished with that one.
School tends to take up a lot of time, but it is good, we have a little time to spare.
Sarah is working on Kings of the Empire, and will finish off Hunter’s Challenge while the rest plays catch up, and I make new stories up for them to work on. LOL
Well, from the kitty tracks all over the house again, it looks like I will have to get busy with the swiffer, again... Hardwood floors might show the dust, but they are clean when you swiffer them.
A little damp mopping from time to time helps… although you have to do it a second time, because the kitties like to put footprints in the pathways.
They haven’t learned, nor will they ever learn, that you stay off mama’s wet floors.
Well, on that note, it is time to take care of the morning meal, kitties first, so I can try to eat in peace, unless they decide to take turns begging for the milk in my bowl… rolling eyes here.
On that note, I will head off… but I will be back. (You aren’t getting away with this that easily.)
Until next week, have a good one… oh yes, and for those with colds, hope you get better, everyone seems to be getting them lately. Nasty things.
Loved this one. Bless the Bratz they are so cute. I know you love them . I just read the review on TRC loved it and so di Barb it seems. I Shared it on FB, Twitter, Google and Pinned it. Will also share and Tweet the blog they never disappoint.
LOL – leave it to the Dynamic Duo – just have to love those two. Busy, busy as usual and will be nice for you to take time off in July. Hope your cold is better and must say, mine is finally going!!! 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
