And I am not going out there, this is hibernation time, if the bears can do it, so can I.  They are saying wind chills up to -40C…  … Just Tath, Thenie and me, under the feather blanket.  I turned the heat up two hours ago and it only gained 2 degrees since then, call me chicken.  I get the feeling the kitties would like to check it out... alright, only Thena, until she gets her feet cold.  (First paw outside).  It would be perfect weather to air out the feathers, if the wind wouldn’t blow the blanket into the neighbour’s yard.

The kitties have been enjoying their captivity, especially Thena, who can run miles within a few feet.  Tath watches as she runs circles around him then weaves off, because she has made him dizzy.  They have taken to bird watching lately too, because the birds are cuddling up against the windows in hope some of the heat from inside might escape.  I can see trouble coming up there this summer, Snoop loved to go outside, Thena is just waiting her time, impatiently, but waiting.  Tath isn’t too far behind her, but he is more timid about venturing anywhere, to meeting anyone.  (There are these 2 bald eagles flying about that I am not so sure about)  We won’t talk about the hawks, owls and falcons.  Actually the little birdies are gorgeous.  I can just imagine Thena, I will take you all on, tie one of my paws behind my back and let me at them.  She is such a tigress, unless Tath decides he has had enough and belts her one to settle her down.  I was teasing everyone, including them, that what they needed is a kitten.  Tath didn’t pay any attention, Thena hissed at the picture.

Well, outside of a couple chapters I still need to finish reworking, To Capture an Ancient is ready for the editing pile.  It should be looked at as soon as Hunter’s Challenge is done, and it is a good thing it is a short one, because the poor girls are swamped. I am going to take enough of a break to read 1 book, then dive into Kings of the Empire, because that book is going to take a while to write.  A lot of people are looking forward to reading it, but don’t like what it represents, the end of the series, but in ending, it is bringing on a rebirth in ONE EMPIRE, yes, the Elven Chronicles will be evolving and you can see it coming in To Capture an Ancient.  

It is a long weekend here, not sure about anywhere else, but it is a good thing... I have this idea (and am usually wrong about them), that I will clean the house, and read, because people will leave me alone a little. (Don’t all laugh at one time, we all know my front door revolves on the quietest of days.)  But in the meantime, I have to get things rolling, or nothing will get done.  Do I want to?  No, but like everyone else, I have no choice.  Have a great week, see you next Saturday, the kitlings send their love.
