Yes, and more. Thena could tell you about the more, as she plays in the box I have for them in the kitchen.
The house looks like it has been ransacked by a couple toddlers.
Toys, pens, paper and whatever else they managed to knock off the furniture onto the floor.
At the moment, Tath is eating, and Thena is jumping in and out of the box beside the food dish,
(yes, that is not where I left it either.)
She pauses on the other side of the box from where he is, does a little shuffle dance with her back legs as she prepares to pounce again… and jumps… over the box and onto Tath… AMBUSH.
And, they are off and running, again.
It is like listening to the sound of the horses at Churchill downs.
Just wait until he catches her, she will show him.
She might be tiny, but she is mighty.
There is a sound of Christmas in the air, but that is about it, as the snow we got a little over a week ago melts.
We are supposed to be above melting for the next week.
Perfect snowman making weather for the kiddies.
Some are celebrating, because it makes the winter shorter (maybe) and some are disappointed, because all the winter sport activities are on hold.
As long as I don’t have to travel on ice, I am a happy camper.
I am not one of those who is going to worry about a White Christmas, this is Canada… mid Canada… we will have snow.
It has been a productive week... I have 65% of Hunter’s Challenge written, and am working on another chapter.
I have the year end books done, and we all know how how I hate those.
My job list went from 3 pages long to 1.
The cover for To Capture an Ancient is done and shown off..
. very proud of that Cora did a great job. (As usual).
This weekend I will have the back cover for Tratchars… which means I can finish off the paperback and get that proofed.
Then they can get shipped to wherever they are going.
Those around me have spoiled me rotten… Cora with her beautiful covers, Becca with her formatting, my editing team, who are working very hard to keep up, and in one case, catch up.
Sarah is doing a fix up edit on the earlier books.
I will be doing the final fix on one book this upcoming week, and shipping off Earwen’s Song to Sarah for final edits… she claims she should be able to have it done before Christmas.
No one wants to hear that though.
I hear the sound of kitty bodies hitting something in the other room… good thing I don’t have the tree up yet.
To be fair, Thena did leave it intact last year..
. for some reason…
I am a little tense about the idea of having it up for any longer than is absolutely necessary, this year.
I wonder if those statues I had to throw out have anything to do with it.
Here they come around the corner, slowly..
. and they are looking in my direction.
Can we say “guilty expressions?”
Tath has something… and he is not keeping it… that is mine.
I will end this here, got to go rescue my prescription bottle. (It is flipping through the air as he keeps it air-bound.)
Until next week… take care… enjoy your pets… your lack of snow… and take care.
Oh boy, the Dynamic Duo are at it again. You can’t say you don’t get enough exercise-they keep you busy picking up!! LOL they are just too much. Love the Ancients cover-Cora outdid herself this time! Try to have a good weekend and until next Saturday!! 🙂
You should see the spare bedroom… I can’t seek pillows or anything on it… empty bed with cat toys to tuck under the covers, etc.
Will enjoy my pets but I want Snow. You know I will take Earwens Song whenever I can get it. LOL I really hope they leave your tree alone. Crossing fingers. Little stinkers. I love the cover for TCaA Cora has done it again. Loved the blog .
Oh the Bratz are surely entertaining, maybe not so much for you, but I love hearing they keep you in shape. Now if they would leave your cherished statues alone, would make a great Xmas present from them, wouldn’t it? HUGS
They keep the place alive
