The sun is shining, the birds are shivering,
the cats are running from one end of the house like a couple f–ts in a gale of wind,
sounds normal to me.
The only thing that was out of character this morning was Tath, who decided he would cuddle up to me and stretch out to his full length (that cat is huge when he stretches out like that).
He was purring softly and acted like he was enjoying the attention…
I can guarantee no one else would have been able to do that.
Tath is my shy one, who throws anxiety attacks when people try to hold him.
He is extremely picky… Thena, on the other hand is all about attitude..
. bump and go.
She purrs most of the time,
will allow you to pick her up,
but has to be in the mood for the cuddle to extend past a quick pet..
. and if you have been handling another cat or dog..
. she will throw a hissy fit and spend the next while cleaning the area that you pet, because you are spreading the germs.
(rolling eyes here).
I have begun to write again, now racing through Chapter VII and probably VIII today... hoping to get some typing done before things get carried away.
I will keep everyone up to date on the word count on my author’s FB page, as I become aware of the changes.
I don’t usually like to get 10 Chapters ahead, the way I have been doing lately, before typing them out, but these things happen and I usually pay the price.
The mind sometimes doesn’t want to stop.
Can you believe next week is Remembrance Day already? Soon our American friends will be stuffing their Turkeys and we will all be putting up the Christmas trees.
Time is flying and I would like to think I can get Hunter’s Challenge written before the end of the year.
Wish me luck.
Unlike the others I wrote this year… most which were the Elven Chronicles, I don’t have the entire book in my head already, but it is unfolding quickly.
The Tantalarians are certainly having more than their fair share of problems with some of the Humans who have landed on their planet.
There will be an unexpected twist near the end of the book as well that should make some eyebrows rise..
. yes, you can thank me for that tidbit of information later…
please… no letter bombs.
I know I should have kept that to myself, but hey, anything to hold your interest, tweak your curiosity and leave you with your arms crossed and tapping your foot.
.. nothing like background music.
I will probably write Forbidden Contact after this one and it won’t take long to finish, it is only a short story, about 25000 words give or take a few thousand.
I then will return to the Elven world.
We are having a discussion of sorts on my Elven Elite Squad street team about that.
I gather some are not too pleased with the end of the series, but it is what it is… there could be upcoming news about that in the future.
The writing of Kings of the Empire will mean I have to order more covers for the books that are coming up… Cora is going to be busy again… and she has been coming up with some gorgeous covers… so proud of her work.
I assume everyone saw her cover for ‘Into the Demons Lair’.
(That book is in editing as is several others)
This month should (note the should) mean the moving on of at least 3, if not 4 books on the editing line) LM to a K is being slightly re-edited, Tratchars should be finished sometime this month, Earwen’s Song will graduate to the last edit stage and Into the Demons Lair… we will see.
Things are piling up on Sarah and she still has several to go through from the old books yet.
Well, from the sounds in the other room, I would say it is time that I got off the computer and went to check on the kitties. I can see the shadow of a cat on the cupboards (Thena), and hear the sound of another entering a paper shopping bad at the speed of light… (Tath)
A crash usually tells me something went horribly wrong.
Until next weekend, have a good one, and lets hope the white stuff holds off for another month.
Love reading your Saturday posts! Does that mean that Tath is coming out of his shell? I hope so, he is a gorgeous brat. Have an awesome cuddly day.
LOL I will pray for your white stuff to hold off but not here we want it. It can snow and we will be happy. You just had to toss that twist statement out there didn’t you. LOO Hope they hadn’t caused you to big a mess. Loved the blog as usual.
Ah, another fantastic post and the Dynamic Duo are at it again. Isn’t it nice when the cats cuddle up to you-I love it when my small dog does it. 🙂 I hope, for your sake, you don’t get snow but I sure hope we get some this Christmas. Haven’t had snow for quite a while now-miss that. Enjoy your Sunday!!
