There is signs of changing weather everywhere. It is getting into the time of the year I refer to as transition time and that can be scary.
If it rains, then freezes, you are are driving on ice… I HATE driving on ice.
It is too warm during the day to turn on the heat,
yet too cold to leave it off.
At night I hide under my feather blanket, with the two bratz… they cuddle in close to catch all the heat they can because they know that mama sleeps with the window open.
It doesn’t keep them in bed,
(I know this because I can hear the sound of kitty feet hitting the floor during the night.)
What does that mean usually, you ask?
Extra clean up in the morning as they have knocked anything that is on top the furniture, to the floor.
At the moment they are on the run, although, as I am not walking around cleaning things yet that run doesn’t include me.
If I was up they would be on the gallop and, that is exactly the way it sounds,
when they are running.
We are at the post, and in the lead it is Thena, no Tath just ran her over and she needs to recover.
(Which she does before attacking the Tath cat.)
He retaliates, then they return to mama…. zip, zip, zip… what are you doing mama, can we come?
Are you going into the porch mama?
Please, there is a lot to get into there too…. SOOOOO much fun.
In the meantime, they are running up and down the floors from one end of the house to the other,
around my feet, in between my feet,
on top the furniture, and generally making life a dangerous party for the one cleaning up the nighttime festivities.
I have been a good little girl, no writing..
. Synopsizes don’t count..
. I have read all but 3 of the books that I pulled from my library, and that has really shrunk.
I will be getting 8 more books during the month of November,
a time when I will be writing Hunter’s Challenge.
I am hoping to be finished writing that book before Christmas, wish me luck.
Chapter 1 has been written so far, but that is it.
I am under the impression that there could be a lot of activity happening in the editing department in that time as well,
for Sarah had said (before Oct) that she had over 80% of Life Mate to a King done,
I sent her Tratchars and Earwen’s Song will be waiting in the wings for her.
Eniko should be working on Into the Demons Lair soon, the comment I heard about that book was that was “You have a remarkable mind.”
Loosely translated… talk about an imagination.
This is the week before Halloween and I am about as ready as I am going to get... looking at my list of things to do.
.. goodies for the kiddies… check.
Well, that is the most important part, the rest is all last minute..
. dusting the floor, opening up the porch that faces the road, etc… etc… etc.
I also have to pick up little bro at midnight Friday night, he is flying in for the weekend.
He has a party to go to for his daughter, Becca.
These things are important and next thing you know he will be walking her down the aisle.
Well the bratz are on the fly, they have this idea they need food, and it is getting late already.
I have to go to the post office to see what they are holding for me..
. something tells me I am not going to like this.
No matter, I will make it right.
In the meantime, have a good week and I will see you on Halloween day.
LOL – the Dynamic Duo are at it again. Those two are something else. So glad you have gotten your reading in. Good luck with Hunter’s Challenge-you’ll get it done-I have no doubts. Eniko is correct, you do have a fantastic imagination!! Have a good weekend and thanks for my Saturday chuckles!!
Loved the blog. Of course he can’t miss Becca’s party. I am excited for her. Glad you reduced your TBR but Nov.s books will take care of that. LOL
I am glad you stuck with the plan, you needed a little reading time.
