They got me up at 5 AM by poking their paws under the blankets and playing with my feet and hands and wouldn’t give in until I was up, yet THEY will get to nap in the morning as well as most of the afternoon… payback is coming their way.  Yes, they, Tath and Thena are at it again... notice how it is Tath and Thena now and not the other way around any more?  You know who is leading the back, and who she can’t handle any more because he is bigger, heavier, stronger and meaner than she is.  (warned her about that when she was picking on him … yup, payback.)  

I have an audience for most things, breakfast, because they get the last tablespoon of milk from my cereal, lunch, because they expect something, as well as the evening meal.  Not happening, yes I know… payback works both ways.  Walking across the floor can be a problem without tripping over something soft and furry.  If I want to get something done, that means that they shouldn’t be there, I have to lock them in a room (If they happen to be sleeping in that room before I close the door that means when I open it there are 2 cats with condemning looks in their eyes and a glint beyond them that says I will be sorry.

I made a cake last night and that was an interesting project.  Keeping Thena off the cupboard while I was mixing the ingredients was a chore, keeping Tath off the cupboard after it came out of the oven was virtually impossible.  I have warned them, one of these days one of them is going to burned their nose because they put it someplace hot that they should have ignored.  They will learn, unfortunately it might be after a trip to the vet.  

I have almost another 10 chapters to type out again, did 10 last weekend and promised myself that I wouldn’t do something like that again.  I am tempted to just write and type it when the book is finished.  The way things are going that should be sometime next week.  I wrote 2 chapters out of context and am about 5 chapters from joining them to what is going down at the moment... yes, I know I said the same thing yesterday, but I am getting closer to the numbers I am talking about.  I can already see ‘Into the Demons Lair’ looming in my mind.  To be fair I know where ‘Lost Kingdoms of the Empire’ and ‘Kings of the Empire’ are going too.  It is ‘To Capture an Ancient’ that will be different’.  Scary thought, I could be finished writing the Elven Chronicles this year, but few will see how it plays out until the last release in 2017.   There are sure some major twists and surprises coming everyone’s way, ones even I didn’t foresee not that long ago.  After I am finished those I am going to dive into ‘Hunter’s Challenge’.  I have to get that one finished over the winter.  ‘Forbidden Contact’ is only a short one, so it won’t take long.  Then I will work on a couple stand alones before diving into the new series.  (enough said about this).

I am hearing the sound of kitty bodies striking the floor, which means they are on the piano, tables, cupboard, dressers, beds… you get the general idea. 

I plan on doing a general clean up of the house when the book is finished, a touch and go clean up today, which means… dishes from making that cake, and dusting the floors. Wish me luck… a mama with a broom in her hand is one with kittens at her feet.
