Yes, I know what is coming up, typing... typing and more typing.  I typed over 8000 words yesterday and have close to double that to do yet.  Sighing.  The kittens are helping.  Thena is bringing her squeaky toy to push under the computer screen and Tath wants to lay across my arms as I type.  If the squeaky toy doesn’t come up on the table, she will play with it around my ankles… yes, the ankles are well ventilated by now, even if we did give her a pedicure the other day... she has to latch on to that toy with something, right?  She does that in bed too.  What is it about our feet that attracts them?  Tath is more direct ... if you don’t react, he jumps on you... all 9 lbs of him… he is a big kitten (8 months now).  They like to wrestle in bed too, usually against my back... (their claws are meant for each other during that session, but it could be done at a more reasonable time, not 3 AM.)

Summer is warming up and little bro is phoning daily from out West, whining about the temperatures, that run into the 100 degree + mark.  Such a wuss.  Whimpers all summer that it is too hot and all winter that it is too cold.  What is Mother Nature to do with him?  To be fair he is trying to find time to come out for a weekend. Yes, he is busy.

The kittens wanted to stay in bed this morning and not go into the kitchen with me and I think I found out why... the garbage can is knocked over, the counter is covered in white and cream fur, the floor looks like someone laid a set of tracks on it (still can’t figure out where they got the water to do that, but I have a sneaky suspicion I know).  going to wash the floor in bleach, because there is a lot of litter on the floor too.  (Rolling eyes here).  They have found a new toy to play with too, the spare room.  I have an enormous grizzly bear on top of the bed and they are slowly de-furring it… note to self… shake out bedspread before little bro comes... it is his bear.  If he doesn’t come soon enough... shake out bedspread before Eniko comes. (I am sure she doesn’t want fake bear hair up her nostrils.)

Yes, Eniko is coming out for a quick visit… making plans here, Skype has been busy.  I have also been in a writing frenzy... thinking that when this round of typing is done that I will be approximately half way through Earwen’s Song and ready for Into the Demons Lair.  Discovered a new short story… going to insert it between Into the Demons Lair and Kings of the Empire and call it Lost Kingdoms of the Empire.  (That one will be Alyssa’s story).  At the rate things are going I should have the whole Elven Chronicles series written before the end of the year... which will allow me to work on Tantalus over the winter.  I have a lot of plans and. it seems like no time to get them all done, and the faster I work at them the quicker deadlines come at me.  Not to worry the kittens will help. (which reminds me… I found the last pen that disappeared, it was under one of the dressers, not sure how it got there yet.)
